Wang's Family Residence, Beijing
"Dear.?" Qing's father finally spoke; he'd been eyeing his wife, Qing's mother, who had been acting so peculiar for the whole day.
"Hmm.." Qing's mother looked at her husband, absent mindedly.
"What's on your mind, dear..? You looked off.."
Qing's mother heaved a heavy breath then, "Qing had already gone back to China. With Dayu."
Qing's father gasped, "really?" He asked, "how did you know? He called you?" He couldn't help but get excited. For two years, his wife had been ignoring their only son. And he'd been waiting for the time when she could finally forgive him and they'd be a family again. So hearing his wife talking about their son, really made him happy.
Qing's mother nodded her head, tentatively, "he did call me three days ago..And told me that he's coming home but he didn't say when.." she said.
"But I got a feeling that they're already home right now.." she mumbled.
So, that's why she had been looking very excited and also agitated for the past few days. Qing's father thought.
He had not seen his wife looking like that for a very long time.
"Why don't you call Qing..? Or better yet, we can give Mr Graham a call and ask him.." Qing's father suggested.
"No." His wife quickly shook her head, "no."
Her husband wouldn't understand, why she did everything that she had done. Why she didn't want to see Qing, for the past two years.
She had told Dayu and Qing since the very beginning; that if Qing ever hurt Dayu, Qing would have to bring with him, to see her if he wanted her forgiveness. And for as long as Qing doesn't bring Dayu to see her; she'd not forgive him.
Did she hate her son? No. Did she love Dayu more than her son. No. She loved Qing. And she would always love him. He's her only son. And that's why, she decided to trust Qing.
Qing had made a mistake; the biggest and the worst mistake he could have done, when he hurt Dayu.
But, Qing is her son. He would be able to do the right thing. He would be able to ask for forgiveness, and earned Dayu's forgiveness. He would be able to rise up above everything; and prove to people just how wrong they were about him. Because he's her son.
She believed in her son. She had always believed in him. And she will continue to believe in him.
Qing will bring Dayu to see her, when the time comes.
She didn't have to call him or demanded him to do so. Qing would bring Dayu over. Soon.
