Whitechapel Hotel, London

(Qing's POV)

I came back to the hotel room in a daze. The scent of him still lingers in my mind. The feels of his skin still burning on my hand.

I finally met Dayu! I finally met him and talked to him and touched him!

I was sitting outside of Dayu's room; as I did every single night for two weeks since Dayu went out of the ICU.

I'd be sitting there until midnight, before I'd go back to the hotel. Dayu's parents are also staying there with me, and they would go back after visiting hours ended at 8pm every night.

They had grown tired of asking me to leave with them so they would just pat my shoulders as they left everyday.

The hotel is just a few minutes away from the hospital, and I wanted to spend every waking time I had with Dayu.

I know that I couldn't possibly be with him for real for the time being, but just being there with only the hospital wall between us is better than not being there at all.

Crazy. My logic is crazy. I know.

When it comes to Dayu, I had never been able to think completely straight since the first time that I knew I'd fallen in love with him.

And how can I be any saner now; knowing that I had almost lost him? Dayu almost died. So, if me wanting to be with him all the time now, is crazy. Then so be it.

Then I saw Dayu's door opened. To my surprise, Dayu suddenly peeked his head out; the moment I saw his face, my heartbeat had started to quicken.

And then, I saw him walking out, as he eyed the exit door. I blinked, Dayu is thinking of running away???

To my horror, he ran to the exit door and I automatically ran after him.

Dayu, that crazy lover of mine! How can he run like that! His body is still not well enough! He had just had a major surgery a month ago.

I was cursing as I reached the exit and then I looked down the stairs to see where Dayu had went. To my surprise I heard footsteps going up the stairs and not down.
