Jake and I had been arguing for the past 4 days. Jake was super stressed with us recently moving to the new house, Martinez Twins leaving, new songs, the merch, the hate- everything was overwhelming him. And I was getting the brunt of his feelings. He was stroppy, moody, upset and hurt. I was stressed from shoots, my YouTube was rocketing, so my expectations were far larger, I was homesick and without Jake I felt like I was fighting it alone.

I woke up and Jake's side of the bed was cold, as it had been for the last 5 mornings in a row, he was sleeping in one of the spare rooms. I got up and showered. I curled my hair and did minimal makeup. I chose my outfit- Nike leggings and one of my cropped merch jumpers. I sprayed some deodorant and perfume. I grabbed my phone and laptop as well as my headphones and headed downstairs. I sat at the table and answered some emails. A groggy Jake came through, on his way to the kitchen. His eyes were bloodshot and puffy- his hair a mess and he looked like he wasn't sleeping. "Jake.." I said. He turned around. "Come here." I said, standing up. I wrapped my arms around his neck. "I'm sorry." He whispered, resting his hands on my waist. "I love you." I whispered. "I love you too." He mumbled. We ate breakfast together and went upstairs. He was feeling super unwell and run down. We put a Christmas film on and he rested his head on my shoulder, he was asleep within the first 10 minutes of the film, he was gently snoring. I stroked his neck as he fell into a deeper sleep. I finished the film and let him rest a little longer. I put my headphones on and did some editing. He woke up about 2 hours later, he stretched out, before sitting up slowly. "Hey baby." I said quietly, rubbing his hair with my hand. "Hey." He said in his rough, sleepy voice. I held his hand. "Talk to me, what's going on?" I asked. He teared up and went silent for a couple of seconds, until a sob escaped his lips. He cried and cried for what seemed like forever. "Jake babes, breathe. You'll make yourself sick." I said sitting him up. He finally calmed down and told me how he was feeling. "Look just relax today, if you feel up to it you can head out and do the vlog later tonight- we'll go do something cool, but for now just breathe and chill." I said softly. He cuddled me for a bit, before I headed to Starbucks. "I love you, listen to what I said okay?!" I said kissing his cheek. "I will, love you too baby. Drive safe." He called. I grabbed my keys and headed out with Erika.

When I got back, Jake was gone. No one had seen him for the hour and a half I'd been gone, no-one even noticed him leave. I tried to call him and he picked up. His voice was cold, yet so so full of sadness. "Where are you Jake?" I asked panicking, after this morning I was very worried about him. "Babe, I promise I'm fine, I'm just taking some time out alone, to re evaluate. I promise I'm not hurt, drunk and I haven't taken anything. I'll be back in an hour or so." He said. I sighed a breath of relief. "Okay, promise you'll come home?" I asked. "Promise. I love you okay?" He said. "I love you too gorgeous." I replied. I hung up and spent the next hour praying he was telling the truth. I raced down to the garage when I heard a car pull up. Jake climbed out of his Tesla and I ran into his arms. His face was a little red, and his eyes a little puffy. "Are you alright?" I asked, running my fingers through his hair. "I'm fine, I'm even better now I'm back." He said kissing me softly. I kissed back, and it became a little heavy. We slowly pulled apart. "Thank you for everything baby girl." He said cupping my face with his hands. "Your welcome babe. I always want the best for you and I want you to always be happy." I said.

We went up to our room, he was telling me all about his new merch. We brushed our teeth and got changed. I laid in bed next to him, my arms wrapped around his neck. He kissed me gently. "Night Y/N." He whispered. "Goodnight Jake." I replied. We were both asleep in minutes.
