Nathan and I dated for 3 and half years and recently got engaged. However, we quickly ended it 4 months after the engagement. The media has spun it way out- our breakup has been trending on social media for 4 days now.

I sat with Jake and Anthony and we read through some of the articles. "Hit YouTube Star Y/N L/N used for fame by Jake Paul's videographer Nathan Speiser?" Anthony said, Jake scrolled down a it. "Y/N released a video on Friday evening explaining in detail her breakup with Nathan. The pair dated for nearly 4 years and were engaged for 4 months. Their relationship came to a sudden end and they've been split up for a couple of days now. Speculation around the breakup is based upon a tweet Y/N shared on her Twitter earlier this week 'People use you, even the ones you love most.' This was a shock for fans as her video claimed 'they were still close friends and on good terms.'" Jake read and it hit home. Nathan and I were really over. No going back now.

I went up to my room to be alone, I watched the boys do stupid shit for the vlog from my window. "Hey." A voice said, I jumped and turned around. It was Nathan. "Hiya." I said hopping off the windowsill. "What's up?" I asked. "I just wanted to check in. Jake mentioned that the constant articles is getting to you a bit." He said, rubbing the back of his neck. "Um yeah a little, but it is what is it right? How are you?" I asked. He teared up. "It's been really hard." He sniffed. I walked over to him. "Why didn't you tell me that you were going through this?" I whispered, holding him tightly. "I didn't wanna bring you down." He cried. "N..." I said looking at the tears racing down his cheeks.

"You are amazing, you're rising in the YouTube community, you are cracking it Y/N. I don't want to bring you down- make you remember the sad time in our life." He said. We sat on my bed and I hugged him tightly. "If you need to talk- ever about anything I'm here." I said running my hand down his back. He nodded and got up. He wiped his eyes. "Can you like not tell anyone about...?" He motioned to his eyes. "Yeah no of course. I know you'd do the same for me." I said squeezing his hand. He walked out and I closed the door.

Everyone deserves the chance to shine like a diamond.

To be able to grow and improve in their own way.

Nathan doesn't deserve the hate and the lies, or the rumours and the criticism.

He didn't use me.
He didn't cheat.
He didn't lie.
He didn't manipulate.

He's innocent.

A break up is with two people.
