It was nearly 3am and I couldn't sleep. Chad was lightly snoring next to me, his arms wrapped around me. I slid out of his grasp and he rolled over. I went downstairs and Jake was editing. "Hey." He whispered, I waved. "Can't sleep?" He asked. I shook my head. He smiled and carried on editing. I had a cup of warm milk. "Night Jake." I said, he saluted me and I beaded back upstairs. I bumped into Anthony on my way. "Sorry." I whispered, he grinned and carried on walking. I went back in and closed the bedroom door. I went to tie my hair up in the bathroom, when Chad started becoming restless. He started to cry, he sat up and struggled to catch his breath. I dived onto the bed and stroked his hair. His body was freezing. "Hey baby what happened?" I asked, trying to calm him down. "N-night mare that y-y-ou left." He sobbed. I rocked him back and forth, planting small kisses on his forehead. We both laid down and he held me tighter than before. I was asleep in seconds.
