(A/n: nothing like a great bonding moment in a life and death situation, well on to the chapter.)

(Y/n POV)

I wake up looking at the blue sky.

(Y/n) man that hurt.

I try to get up, until I felt pain in my gut.

(Y/n) ah, son of a bitch.

I force myself up to see Shade laying across from me.

(Shade) I'm gonna kill- ARH!!!

I look to see that his leg is bent the opposite way, and last time I checked, your toes point I front of you, not behind you.

(Y/n) dude, your left leg is fucked up.

(Shade) the fuck were you thinking of throwing both of us off!

(Y/n) well I was hoping that I would take as minimum damage as possible and just walk back to beacon.

(Shade) you based all that on luck?!

(Y/n) pretty much.

(Shade) *sigh* your an idiot, you do know this forest is infested with Grimm.

(Y/n) then I will kill them.

(Shade) please, Grimm would be on you like a moth to a light.

(Y/n) then I shall kill them as well.

(Shade) your so stupid, you'll either die by Grimm tipping you apart or you'll bleed out.

(Y/n) then what am I suppose to do! Wait and die?

(Shade) no, I'm saying we could survive, together.

(Y/n) you try to kill me twice and you expect me to help?

(Shade) that or we both die.

(Y/n) what can you do to help me?

(Shade) I can cauterize the wound for you and you can help me in some way.

(Y/n) alright, let's get this over with.

I lift up my shirt as he gets his sword and heats up the blade using his semblance. When the blade was glowing red he then hovers it over my wound.

(Shade) don't make too much noise.

(Y/n) hurry up already.

He then puts the blade on the wound. I grit my teeth and held it in my scream. He pulls the blade away.

(Y/n) aw, fuck that hurt.

I get up and put my shirt down.

(Y/n) alright, get on my back.

(Shade) what?

(Y/n) you help me I help you, now get on my back.

(Shade) no I meant, can't you like pop my leg back in.

(Y/n) dude, that is not something you can "pop" back in, I mean you need to go to the hospital for that.

(Shade) well I don't want to get on your back.

(Y/n) then stay here and die.

(Shade) alright, I'll get on. Don't mention this to anyone.

(Y/n) yea, yea just get on already.

I begin to walk forward.

(Y/n) hope this leads us out.

(Shade) why not try to climb the cliff?
