"Hey! Who crushed my popcorn?" Steven sadly yelled. The gems had returned from their expedition. "That's what you get from not cleaning like we asked you to." Pearl answered. Amethyst noticed the glass on the beach and said: "You guys, there's glass on the beach. We didn't make that, did we?" "No we didn't..." Pearl answered. The gems got outside. "There are footprints on the beach. They are bigger than mine." Garnet said confused. The gems followed the trail. "There are a lot of prints here, even some are faded away. We didn't leave them here, for sure." Pearl said. "Maybe they're Peridot's?" Steven asked. But Garnet shook her head. "Peridot doesn't have this size, and Lapis left for a vacation in the forest. She shouldn't be back until her three weeks alone are over." "Strange... but we'll figure it out! We always do!" Steven said enthusiastically. Garnet petted Steven and told him to clean his room. Steven looked back at Garnet with a sad look on his face as he turned to clean his room.
Meanwhile, Wulfenite woke up from his little afternoon nap. He looked out on the beach. "What a nice little town right next to my cave... I wish I could share this view with my dearest." Then he saw the lighthouse. "I haven't discovered that place yet. It looks quite nice! I'm going to check it out." Wulfenite took off and headed towards the lighthouse. He landed with his iconic dive bomb. "It sure was a long time since I pulled off one of those. Too long." He looked up at the lighthouse. "This is going to be fun" he told himself. Then he heard a shattering sound. One that gave him chills. It came from down the hill. Wulfenite walked to the edge and looked down. "What? Is that... a gem?!" There was a big red gem smashing the glass made by the corrupted gem. Wulfenite quickly jumped back. "A gem! And it's not corrupted! That explains a lot, But it doesn't explain why there was food in the temple. She can't live in the temple by herself..." Wulfenite still couldn't believe it: a non corrupt gem on earth! Quite the discovery! Right before Wulfenite wanted to jump down, his thoughts stopped him: "These gems... they could just be enemies. What if they have my dearest? What if they belong to Yellow?! I'll have to do this subtly." Wulfenite gathered all of his courage and jumped down.
