Wulfenite stood there, three gems in front of him. "So, where's Rose Quartz?" He asked; "She's your leader, right?" Amethyst burst out in laughter: "She's been gone for almost 15 years now. She turned into a little boy. HEY STEVEN!" Wulfenite was a little suprised: "A little boy? That's odd." Pearl looked down: "She wanted a kid, so she gave her original form away to Steven, the youngest crystal gem. That's what we call our rebellion." Steven ran outside and stopped right between Garnet and Pearl. "What's wrong?" He asked. Then he saw Wulfenite. "Wow! A gem! And it's not corrupt!" "Wow! A human! You have a gem?" Wulfenite asked. "Yeah, right here!" Steven said as he revealed his gem. "Amazing. I didn't know that was even possible! A human with a gem..." Wulfenite said. "So, What brings you here?" Steven asked. Wulfenite explained the whole story. Steven's mood switched through the whole story. From confused, to happy and finally, to sad. He even began to cry when he heard about Wulfenite's dearest. "So you've known Garnet and Pearl longer than Amethyst has? That's impressive." Wulfenite said smiling: "Impressive? That's quite a compliment, coming from the son of Rose Quartz." Steven laughed. "Hey, do you want to meet my dad? He's really cool!" Wulfenite said yes. "You two go have fun. We'll clean up the beach." Garnet said. Wulfenite quickly said: "Oh yeah, sorry about that... the gem is in my cave. I'll bring it to the temple, together with Steven." He patted Steven on the back; "C'mon, little man, let's go meet your dad." Wulfenite lifted Steven on his back and flew off.
"So, why can't we tell Wulfenite we have Lapis?" Amethyst asked. "Isn't it obvious?" Pearl said while smashing the glass; "He will destroy us if he finds out. We need to keep her a secret until he grows more comfortable with us, if he even decides he wants to stay here. We also need to give him a place to sleep, we can't let him sleep in a cave. He likes to sleep, you know." The gems agreed on a plan, cleaned everything up and prepared the couch for Wulfenite. "Okay, so we obviously can't tell Wulfenite about his 'dearest'. We'll need to be very subtle about this. If he even suspects one thing, we're done for." Pearl said as she drew on her chalkboard. "This here is us, this is Wulfenite and this is Lapis. We can-" "boring!" Amethyst yelled as she threw a pillow at the board. "Amethyst! This is important!" Pearl yelled. "Not really. We just don't talk about Lapis at all and we'll be fine." Garnet agreed. "Well fine then." Pearl said salty as she put her piece of chalk back in her gem.
In the meantime, Wulfenite grew a liking to Greg. They could really get along with each other. "So you are a millionaire? I've learned a bit about currency during my time here. It's quite impressive that you earned it so quickly." Wulfenite noticed the sun setting. "Well, Steven, we need to go. The sun is setting and we still need to retrieve that gem from my cave. Let's go. Goodbye mr. Universe!" Wulfenite and Steven waved Greg goodbye and flew to the cave. Upon reaching the cave, Wulfenite grabbed the bubbled gem, made Steven warp it to the temple and he closed down the cave with a strike of his staff. "That's so cool!" Steven said. "Thanks, I came up with the concept during my research on gravity. Now, let's go home before it gets dark."
