The gems ran through the palace, trying to find the Throne Room. "This can't be happening! She isn't really going to shatter them, is she?" Steven asked worried. "I really don't know. Let's hurry. Maybe we can stop her if she does." Wulfenite said. No one knew what they would encounter once they entered the Throne Room. After a while, they found themselves in front of the Throne Room. "This is it." Lapis said nervously. "Yeah... Listen, in case I don't make it," Wulfenite said. "Stop. Don't finish that sentence. You will make it. We will all make it. I promise." Steven said with a confident look on his face. Wulfenite nodded at Steven. "Let's do this." Wulfenite said and he kicked the door open.

"Hey, that door did nothing wrong, did it?" Ultranite exclaimed from the other side of the room. "Ultranite, don't do this..." Wulfenite said. "Blah, blah, blah. You bore me already. You can't talk me out of this. The universe is wild and unbalanced. I am the solution. I will  bring order to the universe." "Dictatorship is the last thing the universe needs." "What gives you that idea? The Diamonds did it and it all worked out, didn't it? The only downside was that Rose Quartz, who I believe is here right now, isn't she?" Ultranite rolled out of Wulfenite's throne; "Yes, there you are. You are a child." "Back off." Wulfenite said. "Let the boy speak for himself, brother." "Don't call me that." "Why not? We are siblings, whether you like it or not." "What? You're his sister?" Spinel asked. "But of course, my dear! I too was created by the Diamonds. All three of them, now that Pink's gone. I poofed the others too, by the by." Ultranite said; "They've... changed. And not in a good way, oh no no no." Ultranite sat back in her throne; "They no longer feel the need to 'dispose' of weak gems. They want to give everyone a chance." "What brought that on?" Wulfenite asked stern. "Well brother, I believe it was you and your public diary." Wulfenite smacked his forehead. He forgot to store his diary in his room. "They found it?" Lapis asked. "They sure did and boy, brother, you have quite a way with words! Hats off to you." "I don't need your compliments." "Of course you don't, you just want your 'friends'. Disgusting word." "Give them back and I'll go easy on you." "Daring today, aren't we? Well, I would consider that, but your team doesn't look intimidating in the slightest. Especially since I have... THIS!" Ultranite summoned a scythe and slashed towards the gems. Wulfenite pushed them all back. "What is that?" Steven asked. "That's a gem rejuvenator." Wulfenite said; "Where did you get that!?" "Oh this silly thing? Yellow had it on her. It was her new way of disciplining traitorous gems." Suddenly, a scream came from behind the throne. It was Ronaldo. He came from behind the throne and ran towards Steven. "Oh, the monkey is loose." Ultranite said. "Steven! That thing is crazy! She tried to kill me!" "Nonsense, I was just about to send you to the zoo." Ultranite said. "Nuh uh! You didn't even want to answer my inverview questions!" Ronaldo said. Ultranite sighed and pushed Ronaldo far away with a gust of wind. Wulfenite summoned his staff: "Enough talk. I'm taking you down." "Come at me, brother. Let us find out who the better sibling is." Wulfenite charged at Ultranite, who blocked the strike and shot him in the gut. "Oh sorry, did that hurt?" Ultranite asked. Wulfenite grabbed Ultranite and threw her back into the throne. Lapis pulled Steven and Spinel closer: "Okay, Wulfenite is not going to win on his own. We need the others. Steven, you go help me and Wulfie fight Ultranite while you, Spinel, free the gems. And be discrete." Lapis said. Spinel saluted her and slithered to behind the throne. Lapis and Steven jumped into action. Wulfenite dodged multiple slashes from the scythe and clashed with his own staff. Lapis came from the side and smashed into Ultranite with her water fists. Ultranite blocked another incoming water hand with a gust of wind from her hand. Steven slid towards Ultranite, who kicked him aside. Wulfenite jumped backwards and shot at Ultranite, who shot back with her arm cannon. "Come on, brother. You can't beat me. While you were relaxing on your earth, I was training. I am way more experienced. I've been a better version of you since I was born. I never fell into liquid gem fluid. I am perfect. I developed my own free will. The lack of a gem weapon was made up for with this arm cannon. Also, my cape can go faster and is better looking." Ultranite said. "You may be better, but I have something you never had. Friends." Wulfenite said and as he did, Steven, Lapis and Spinel joined his side. "Hah, as if I need those." Suddenly, Ultranite got slammed in the back by a set of gauntlets. "You look like you do." Garnet said. "Garnet!" Wulfenite and Steven yelled. Ultranite got up slowly. She tried to fly up, but soon noticed her cape was missing. "Looking for something?" Pearl said as she ripped the cape apart. "Pearl!" Wulfenite and Steven yelled again. Ultranite jumped up and readied a punch, but Wulfenite flew up and stopped her. "Not so fast now, eh?" "Don't flatter yourself, boy." Ultranite said as she threw Wulfenite back down with immense force, cracking the floor; "By taking my cape, this just became a fair fight." She grabbed a gem from her pocket. It was Amethyst! She threw the gem up high and readied her scythe. Wulfenite saw what was going on. "Amethyst! I got you!" Wulfenite yelled. Ultranite saw Wulfenite leaping towards the gem and quickly kicked Wulfenite up. Amethyst fell to the floor. Steven threw his shield against the back of Ultranite's head and grabbed Amethyst. "You're safe." He whispered. Ultranite got mad and slashed Steven multiple times with her scythe. Steven didn't poof. "What? Why aren't you poofing?!" Ultranite yelled confused. "He's half human. Didn't you know that?" Lapis said smug. "I don't feel so good." Steven said as he stood up slowly; "I gotta sit down for a while." Steven sat back against a wall, with Amethyst in his lap. The fight was still going on in the meantime. The Crystal Gems went all out against Ultranite. After a while, Ultranite got bored. "Enough." She said as she pushed everyone back with a gust of wind. "So you have aerokinesis?" Lapis asked. "Good observation! And you possess hydrokinesis, don't you? Now where is that magnetokinetic gem?" Ultranite wondered; "Oh! Of course, she's with me." Ultranite snapped her fingers and from the ceiling, Peridot fell down. She had limb enhancers on her. "Prepare to meet your demise, clods!" Peridot yelled as she charged a shot. "Peridot! Cut it out! You're pointing at the wrong gem!" Wulfenite yelled. "Not since I hit her with this scythe! Now you're the bad guy. How's it feel?" Ultranite said and she laughed out loud. "Peridot... no..." Wulfenite fell to his knees. "Wulfenite! Get up! We have to stop them!" Pearl yelled. Steven came to stand next to Wulfenite: "C'mon! Where's the gem that told me nothing would stand in his way?" Wulfenite looked at Steven: "I let her down again." "Again? That Peridot who got shattered wasn't our Peridot. It wasn't your fault! Come on Wulf! We can't do this without you." "Okay, let's go!" Wulfenite yelled as he jumped back up.
