A few months flew by. Wulfenite stood in the middle of Little Homeworld. "Wulfenite! Heads up!" Bismuth yelled as she threw a wooden plank towards Wulfenite. Wulfenite snapped out of his thoughts and kicked straight through the plank, snapping it in two. "Nice try, sister! Better luck next time." Wulfenite said smug. Bismuth came down from the final house and slapped Wulfenite on the back. "Well, we did it. The town is complete!" Bismuth said. The town was already filled with gems who inhabited the houses. The town was really alive! Wulfenite smiled as he looked at their creation. "Beautiful. Now all these gems have a place to call home again." Wulfenite said. "Yeah, I love a good ending." Bismuth sighed happily. Wulfenite dusted off his hands and said: "Well, that's that. I'm going to head home." He bowed down jokingly; "It's been an honor working with you, Bismuth." Bismuth laughed and smacked Wulfenite over the head. "Cut it out, Diamond boy. I'll see ya around." Wulfenite gave a thumbs up and a huge smile before taking off.
Back at the barn, Wulfenite landed head first through the TV. Lapis and Peridot got the shock of their lives: "What the-?! Wulfenite!" Peridot said angrily. "Guess that magazine was correct. Today, an accident did happen." Lapis said. "My word, what did I hit?" Wulfenite said as he pulled his head from the TV. "I don't know, but it apparently did enough damage to give you the idea to your smash your head through the image cube!" Peridot was engulfed with rage. "I didn't mean to! I swear." "Isn't that just easy to say." "Peridot please! I'll get you a new TV! Besides, you two only watch Camp Pining Hearts. And you've already watched all twenty six tapes! Three times!" Lapis nodded: "He's got a point." Peridot was speechless. "Anyway, I'm gonna find out what hit me. That was some sturdy stuff. I usually fly right through them." "I'll go with you. I'm bored anyway." Lapis said. "Sounds good. Peridot, hold down the fort. We'll be right back. This won't take long." Wulfenite said. "Affirmative. I'll try to fix this cube." Peridot muttered. Wulfenite and Lapis took off.
"I didn't see it when I approached earth. When I left Little Homeworld, I went straight up to the moon, circled it and flew down to the barn. I have no idea what could've hit me." Wulfenite explained. He and Lapis went up to the moon. "Wulfenite. Don't. Move. A. Muscle." Lapis said. Wulfenite looked with a terrified expression to right in front of him. "There's a laser sight trained on your gem." Wulfenite's eyes glanced at his gem. Lapis was right. A little red dot. Wulfenite quickly grabbed Lapis and took off upwards. When he looked down, he saw a ship that looked all too familiar to him. "That's... the sun incinerator?!" Wulfenite couldn't believe his eyes. His old ship! Right in front of him! "But I thought it was burned! We saw the hangar up in flames!" Lapis said shocked. "Perhaps it wasn't in there." Wulfenite said. The ship loudly exclaimed: "Wulfenite and his inferior girlfriend... Ha! I wasn't expecting a two for one today!" "You dare call her inferior?! If anything, she's stronger than I am!" Wulfenite said angrily. He rushed at the ship. The ship thrusted upwards at immense speed. "Too slow!" The ship said. Lapis summoned her water arms and slammed on top of the ship. "Hey! This isn't my ship, be careful!" "Darn right it's not! It's mine! give it back, you thief!" "We're space pirates, what did you expect?" The ship readied it's miniguns and shot at both gems. Lapis put up a water shield while Wulfenite summoned his staff and spun it to deflect the bullets. "Woah, these are live rounds? What's the big idea?! My ship had energy weapons!" "Emphasis on 'had', Wulfedork!" Wulfenite got mad and flew up to the ship. Inside, he saw a pink guy wearing a cape, sitting in his chair. "Are you the captain?" Wulfenite asked through the window. "Paddy! Hit the thrusters!" Nothing happened for a while. "Paddy! Do it no-" The pink guy was cut off by the ship suddenly thrusting back. Wulfenite slipped from the ship's window. "He looks human... enough playing around. It's time to finish this!" Wulfenite said to Lapis. Lapis nodded and they both flew straight through the ship. They landed inside the ship. The ship was filled with off colors. "Oh no! They've made their way in! What do we do what do we do?!" One gem said. She looked like a fusion of a pearl and a ruby. Wulfenite examined her for a bit. "Keep it together, Rhodonite. They don't pose a threat when they're up against Ultranite's last line of defense!" The captain picked up a slim stick from next to the throne; "It's so refreshing to work for someone like Ultranite. Backup plans for her backup plans!" Wulfenite looked at the stick. White with a hint of purple. It looked futuristic, even for Homeworld's standards. "You seem interested in the silly stick. Looks good, doesn't it? Designed by Ultranite." The captain charged the stick and shot towards the two gems. "A blaster... original." Wulfenite said. He summoned his staff and shot back. The captain slammed the stick on the ground and it transformed into a shield, granting him the ability to block the shots. "How about that?" The captain said smug. "That's a cool stick. I really want it. You reckon it comes in blue?" Lapis asked. "Nah, I need me an orange one." Wulfenite said with a smile. Lapis grabbed the captain with one arm and threw him against the wall. "Take that, pink guy!" Lapis said. "Pink guy? I have a name, blue lady! Call me Lars of the Stars!" "Heh, lame." Wulfenite said smug; "Wait a second. Didn't Steven mention he revived a friend of his, who then turned pink? Wasn't he named Lars as well?" Lapis thought about it. Wulfenite quickly charged at Lars. "Wait, Steven?" Lars said right before he got slammed in the face with Wulfenite's palm. "Oops. I think he was about to talk." Wulfenite said and he let out a worried laugh. "You really are stupid sometimes." Lapis sighed. Wulfenite looked at the other gems. "Captain! Watch out!" The padparadscha said. "Little late for that, I'm afraid." Wulfenite said.
"But why would a friend of Steven work for Ultranite? Especially now that she's neutralized." Wulfenite wondered. He looked at the other gems: "Maybe you guys could tell me what that is about." The off colors, as Lars called them, looked nervously at each other. "So we have a fusion between a Ruby and a Pearl, huh? Back when Ultranite was in control, that was illegal. So that begs the question... Tell me, how did you gems get acquainted with Ultranite?" Wulfenite asked. "W-we won't answer to you!" Rhodonite said. Wulfenite noticed a flicker on her upper gem. "Wait a minute... Is that a tracker?" Wulfenite approached the Rhodonite. The Rutile twins jumped from behind Wulfenite. Lapis tried to stop them, but she was too late. The twins hit Wulfenite's gem with a metal spear. "Youch! What in Diamond's name..?" Wulfenite roundhouse kicked the gem and checked his hand. His gem had a little crack in it. "That was only the beginning! Resistance is futile!" One of the twins yelled. "Heh... It would've been funny if you said 'resistance is Rutile' instead." Wulfenite muttered. Lapis smashed the Rutile twins in their back and pinned them down. "These are those corrupting computer chips!" Lapis said in awe. "That explains it." Wulfenite said.
After everyone's corrupting computer chip was removed, Wulfenite woke up Lars. "Hey captain! Wake up, we got rid of the chip in your brain for you." Lars slowly came to: "Wha? What happened? Did I die again?" "Oooo yes you did Lars! It's time to pay for what you've done to the awesome Wulfenite!" Wulfenite said jokingly. Lapis punched him in the ribs: "Don't do that to him. He didn't know what he was doing." Wulfenite smiled and scratched the back of his head. "You were mind controlled by Ultranite. You and your crew are safe now, don't worry." "Ultranite? We had no run in with someone named Ultranite. Although, Emerald did mention her name. Saying that we would be under her control." "Guess she was right." Lapis said. "So, how did you guys steal my ship?" Wulfenite said. "Wait, are you with Homeworld?" Lars asked frightened. "Yes and no. Homeworld is back to being good again, thanks to Steven, and I'm with the good guys, so I'm both." Wulfenite explained. "Woah, how long was I out for? Anyway, stealing your ship was easy. You should thank us. If we didn't steal your ship, it would've burned to ashes. The encryption was also very poor." Lars said smug. "Hehe, I know. I never figured anyone would steal it." Lapis patted Wulfenite on the back: "There there. So what's the plan, captain?" "I guess we could go to earth. I haven't seen Steven in a long time. It would also be a nice trip for my crew. They always wanted to see earth, especially Fluorite down in the engine room." "Okay! Let's go home then!" Wulfenite said. He and Lars both headed to the throne. "Uh, that's my seat, big orange." "This is still my ship, captain pink." Lapis saw this going wrong. Wulfenite and Lars butted heads. "I control the crew, so I am the captain!" "Yeah? Well I own the ship!" "Wulfenite, don't be such a baby. Let the boy handle it. He's been doing fine!" Lapis stated. Wulfenite pouted as Lars looked smug back at him. "Psh, alright." Wulfenite sat down next to Lapis. "I love you." Lapis said as she gave Wulfenite a kiss. "Hmph." "Okay crew! Destination earth! Full steam ahead! Bingo Bongo!" Lars exclaimed.
