The movie concluded and everyone was up in tears, except for Amethyst and Peridot. Amethyst was sleeping and Peridot just didn't understand the movie. "This was fun, let's do this again sometime!" Steven said as he removed the VHS from the tv. "Good idea, but next time, we're watching Camp Pining Hearts." Peridot said; "This movie was too confusing." "Wait 'til you see The Matrix." Steven said to himself. "Well, we're off. Thanks for this amazing day, Steven!" Wulfenite said as he hugged Steven; "Good night, little man!" Wulfenite said. "Good night, Wulfenite!" Amethyst and Pearl got up and both gave Wulfenite a big hug. "We're going to miss y-, I mean, good night!" Pearl said. Amethyst almost punched Pearl, but she corrected herself just in time. Peridot, Lapis and Wulfenite stepped on the warp pad. The gems said their goodbyes and they warped back to the barn.

"Whelp, tomorrow's the big day. The day I get removed from this planet's surface." Wulfenite said. "Don't worry, maybe they've changed their minds and if not, I'll still guide you back to earth." "That's right, but it's about the idea that they want me gone. Why shouldn't I leave?" Peridot jumped up from the couch: "Are you serious?!" "Well, yeah. I'm clearly not wanted here by earth's protectors..." "But you are wanted by us! By Steven! Heck, even by Empire City's citizens! You are an important part of our lives! What if we're attacked? Do you really think those weak clods can protect this puny planet? We've beaten them before!" "You do have a point. I didn't even come here for them. I came to be safe and hidden from Homeworld and to be together with Lapis. I'm not going easy on those gems when I get back." "That's the way!" Peridot yelled and almost fell from the couch. "C'mon. Let's go to bed." Peridot jumped onto the bed. Lapis said: "I'll go gather some information by eavesdropping at the temple." "Do you want me to join you?" Wulfenite offered. "No thanks, Wulfie. It's too dangerous for you and you deserve a good night's sleep." Wulfenite kissed Lapis and waved her goodbye. He flew to the bed and got ready. "Good night, Peri." "Good night, Wulfie."

A splash of water woke up Wulfenite and Peridot, who was lying on top of Wulfenite. "Wake up!" It was Lapis. She stood downstairs. Wulfenite's head popped up from the bed. "Good morning! What's up?" Wulfenite carried Peridot down. "Well, I've successfully eavesdropped on the gems. It seems like they're going to send Amethyst to come get you. Then, they'll fly you to the planet with the stolen Ruby ship. Then, they'll send you to go check an area and take off, leaving you behind. Then, they'll tell us that you were abducted by Homeworld." Wulfenite sighed: "It's so cruel... I can't believe I'm being treated like this." Peridot and Lapis hugged Wulfenite tightly. "It's going to be okay. We'll make sure of it."

The warp pad went off. "That's my cue. C'mon Lapis." Lapis shapeshifted into a frog and hopped into Wulfenite's hair. She buried herself in his hair, so she could get on the ship unnoticed. Wulfenite gave Peridot a hug and walked towards the warp pad to rendezvous with Amethyst. "Wulfenite! We need you for an important mission on a distant planet!" "Looks like they didn't change their minds..." Lapis whispered in Wulfenite's ear. "Okay, Amethyst. Let's go!" A while later, Garnet, Amethyst, Pearl and Wulfenite were sitting in the Ruby ship. Garnet flew them to the planet. The ship reached the planet in two seconds, thanks to light speed. "We're here. Let's go find that gem." The ship opened and the gems got out. Wulfenite put Lapis on the ground unnoticed. "Good luck, Lapis. I'm counting on you." Garnet walked out the ship and said: "Ok, time to split up. Wulfenite, travel to the other side of the planet and search there. Wulfenite flew off. He stopped a fair distant later and drew a arrow pointing to the landing place in the red sand. "This'll work. I hope Lapis gets on the ship." Wulfenite waited thirty minutes. He stared into the planet's sun to measure the time. "This is long enough. I'm going back." Wulfenite jumped up and flew back to the landing place. The ship was gone. "Unbelievable. They really ditched me. I'll ask Lapis how the gems brought it to the others. For now, I'll just fly back. Slowly. Thinking about why they'd leave me. The arrow is here. Lapis did good." Wulfenite floated upwards and flew off.
