The gems were in a giant hangar. There were a lot of ships and one flew right above their heads. "Quick! Hide!" Ruby said in a whispering tone. The gems ran and hid behind a ship. "This is not good. Those are Amethyst guards. There's no way we can defeat them without triggering the alarm." Ruby spoke. Pearl thought for a while and then spoke: "Why don't we use the same tactic as last time?" "Good idea!" Steven said. Wulfenite and Epidote were confused. "What do you mean last time?" Wulfenite asked. "Well, we've used a tactic before to save my dad. It didn't go that well, but this is Homeworld, not the human zoo." Steven said. Wulfenite was shocked and said: "you've been to the human zoo?! That is amazing! What did you think of it? The people there are little underdeveloped, but still pretty nice, eh?" "It was horrible." "...Fair enough." Wulfenite muttered. Steven explained the plan.
Ruby walked towards the Amethysts and said: "hey, uh, do you guys know where my Sapphire went? I think I lost her..." "Sorry, little one. We haven't seen a Sapphire. Now scram." Wulfenite and Pearl jumped up from behind the ship and both shot one Amethyst. Ruby turned around and bubbled both of them. "That wasn't so bad, at least they didn't call security." The gems ran through the door and found themselves in a giant room. "I remember this... this is the Diamond room!" Wulfenite looked around and saw his throne: "They didn't even throw it away... Why?" Steven patted Wulfenite on his back: "Maybe they miss you, but they're bad guys. They took your loved ones." Wulfenite sighed and thanked Steven for his mind refresher. Wulfenite ran to his throne and drew a lightning bolt across the panel. "From my throne I can check the prisoner database. Let's see..." A warning popped up the screen. "Huh? Two prisoners escaped?" Wulfenite zoomed in on the picture. "Hey! Those escaped prisoners are Lapis and Peridot!" The gems ran to the throne and watched with Wulfenite. It was true! "C'mon, we need to find them before they run off somewhere stupid!" Amethyst yelled. Wulfenite locked the entrance to the headquarters, entered the password and followed the gems. After walking around for a minute, Wulfenite noticed Epidote looking around. "It's your first time here, right?" Epidote noticed Wulfenite was talking to her: "Yeah, it's beautiful." "Too bad it's used for the bad things." "Yeah... Hey, if this plan fails and we get captured, will you promise me you'll save me?" "I promise, Epidote." Epidote looked away blushing. Wulfenite laughed silently.
The gems reached the prison area. "Okay, spread out and find them! We'll meet right back here!" Pearl said as she stuck her spear into the floor. Everyone went another direction. Steven and Amethyst ran to the left and found a Ruby, poofed on the floor. Steven looked around and yelled: "Hey Amethyst! There's a Ruby here! And a broken pipe too." "Do you think they've been here?" Amethyst said. "They must have been. Or it was another prisoner! What if they're still here?!" "Calm down, Ste-man, it wasn't a prisoner, I promise." Steven let go of Amethyst's arm: "If you say so. Could this be Lapis and Peridot's cell?" "Might be." Steven looked around the crime scene: "Hm, there's a gem destabilizer here. Do you think it was used on this Ruby?" Amethyst picked up the destabilizer: "it's pretty obvious. What else could they've used?" "Their gem weapon?" "Didn't we agree this was Peridot and Lapis's cell?" "Oh yeah..." Amethyst kept the destabilizer close; she wasn't planning on losing it. "We should head back and tell the others what we've found." Amethyst said. "Alright. Should we take this Ruby?" Steven asked. Amethyst looked at the gem: "Nah, she'll manage. Let's go." Amethyst took Steven's arm and ran back to the spear.
