Wulfenite and Epidote had finished their circle around the cell blocks. They didn't manage to find anything. "Let's hope the others had more luck." Wulfenite said positively. "I doubt it. We circled around almost everything." Epidote said. "That may be true, but we missed some parts, so there's still hope." "You're so positive. How do you do it?" "Well, I just don't want to think about the bad options, because I can't lose my dearest." Epidote thought about it. She realized that she might be too negative. "Y'know, Wulfenite," Epidote said; "if we make it out here alive, I want to spend some more time with you and learn about lots of positive things, so that I too can have happiness." "That sounds good! Wait, what do you mean with 'I too can have happiness'? Don't you have something to be happy about?" Wulfenite asked. "I am merely a year old and I was made on Homeworld. I don't have many features. I need to learn more so I can be a true warrior. Not for Homeworld of course, I want to join your rebellion." "We're happy to have you! Welcome aboard!" Wulfenite offered Epidote a handshake, but she jumped into his arms instead. "We should head back." Epidote said. "Well, let's go then." Wulfenite said as he started levitating. He put Epidote on his back and flew back to the spear.
When Wulfenite and Epidote returned to the spear, they saw Steven and Amethyst rambling about something to Pearl and Ruby. Wulfenite landed, put Epidote down and asked: "What are you two yapping about?" Steven turned to Wulfenite and said: "We found the cell of Peridot and Lapis!" "You did?! Amazing!" Wulfenite jumped up and down, but then realized something: "Wait, were they there?" Steven shook his head. "That's bad! That means they're roaming around on Homeworld! It's way too dangerous here!" "Then I suggest we go forth and find them!" Epidote said; "But there's a problem. You can't walk around here freely, Wulfenite. Neither can you, Steven." Wulfenite looked at Steven and said: "You're right... We can't search for them in the open. That'll be the job for you guys." Pearl raised her hand: "But when and where are we going to meet up?" Wulfenite thought: "Hm, I have an idea. Maybe we can meet at our arrival point?" "Good idea! In about two hours, unless they're found earlier than that. Does that sound good?" Pearl asked. The group nodded. "Okay team! Split up and good luck!" Ruby yelled. Wulfenite took Steven's hand and while the others ran away, he said: "Listen, Steven. I'm scared. It's a well known procedure here on Homeworld that escaped prisoners get shattered upon discovery." "What?!" Steven was in shock; "That's shocking! Does that mean that Peridot and Lapis are... in danger of dying here?!" Wulfenite nodded. "Then we need to hurry! Let's start inside here!" Wulfenite nodded and took Steven to the Diamond room. He sat on his throne looking through security cams, while Steven was looking through the window. He saw a blue palanquin landing at the hangars. He spoke: "Uh, Wulfenite? I think Blue Diamond is home..!" Wulfenite jumped from his throne and looked outside. "Oh no! You're right! We need to superspeed check this building!" "Okay, let's start at the-" Before Steven could finish his sentence, Wulfenite flashed through the building. "They aren't in here. Let's go." Wulfenite lifted Steven on his back and rushed outside.
Meanwhile, Pearl, Amethyst, Ruby and Epidote were walking in the open on the surface of Homeworld. "Okay, if I was Lapis or Peridot, what would I do?" Pearl said. "Maybe get a ship to get out of here?" Ruby said. "Good one, let's check the nearest airfield!" Epidote walked up to Pearl and said: "The nearest airfield is approximately fifty nine point two kilometers away." "What?!" Epidote laughed: "Don't worry, I can get us there in a flash." Epidote opened a wormhole and moved her arms towards the wormhole. "You may enter." Pearl blushed. "That's a handy friend! Nice job Epi!" Amethyst said. The gems aligned and walked through the portal to the airfield.
