Steven, Amethyst, Garnet, Lapis and Peridot were watching a replay of the news. Steven had invited everybody to see Dawn Justice and Moon Descendant on national television. "This is what they were up to?" Amethyst said. "I was there when they discussed this plan. I think they've executed it nicely!" Steven said. They sat there, looking at the replay of the fight scene. "Oh! This is the part I like best! Look at Wulfenite tackling the gem by shooting it's feet, causing it to fall over, so Pearl could stab it in the head." "Wulfenite did pretty much everything." Peridot claimed. Lapis agreed. "Guys, I think they both played their part. Giving Wulfenite all the credit isn't fair at all. Yes, he is way stronger and has more fighting experience, but Pearl obviously didn't show her best. And it was her who tracked the gem." Steven claimed. "I guess you're right. It's just that I like Wulfenite a bit more." Peridot said. "That's okay. Everybody has their favorite. I just can't wait for the next time they save the world. They've kinda claimed the job of taking care of gems in presence of humans... unless we can dress up as superhe-" Garnet patted Steven on his head: "We can't all be heroes. Just let them have their fun." "Aw, But I wanted to-" "Shush! The interview is about the begin!" Amethyst yelled. Wulfenite and Pearl busted through the door. "We're he-" Wulfenite was interrupted by the gems hissing at him. "I see, y'all are watching the news." Wulfenite took place next to Lapis. Pearl sat down next to Garnet. They all watched in complete silence. "Did we really look that cool? That's awesome." Wulfenite said. The interview ended and the news did a live report on the superheroes. "Looks like we're famous, Pearl." Pearl chuckled: "Sure looks like it. Don't let it go to your head, though. We're still gems and with Homeworld lurking, earth will never be safe." Wulfenite got a bit sad, because he knew it was true. The people on the tv mentioned there was a great group of people in the big city, waiting for their heroes to sign multiple things. "It looks like the fans want an encore of their favorite superheroes. Can we count on them to come back here?" The reporter asked his audience. "Not a chance, I'm going to bed. It was surely fun, though. G'night everyone!" Wulfenite exclaimed. "You're right, but it wouldn't hurt to show up one more time, right?" Pearl said. "Believe me, it would. It was an one time mission. They can't get used to superheroes, because they need to accept gems as heroes." "They'll never accept us. We don't do this work for fame, but the superhero part is something we did do for fame." Pearl said. Wulfenite sighed. Pearl was right. He summoned his supersuit and said: "Ok, one last time." Pearl cheered, summoned her outfit and they flew off.
Wulfenite dive bombed into the crowd, landing as silent as possible. "Hello, folks! We're back!" Wulfenite exclaimed. All the people surrounded the gems. They yelled and screamed. They wanted those signatures really bad! They started pushing and pulling, it was total chaos! Wulfenite stomped the ground: "People! Calm down! We'll sign everything, but only things of people who line up over there." The people quickly lined up.
A couple hours later, the gems said their goodbyes and left the city. Wulfenite dropped Pearl off at the temple, gave her a hug and left the beach. He flew back to the barn, where Lapis was waiting for him. Wulfenite landed and walked into the barn. Lapis sat in her hammock and looked up when she heard Wulfenite walk by. She got out of the hammock and said: "Peridot said she wanted to stay at the temple, so we have the whole barn to ourselves." "In that case," Wulfenite said as reached out; "want to dance like the old times?" Lapis blushed and took his hand. They danced the night away.
