It was 10 pm. Wulfenite sat on the Big Donut's rooftop. "Everyone ready? Keep your eyes open." The officer had given everyone a tiny microphone for in their ear. Steven gave Wulfenite a thumbs up. "Gotcha, Wulf." Amethyst said. Lapis hummed a soft tune. They waited and waited. Then, the officer came in: "Alright, the Crab Shack is unlocked and the lights are out. Time to drop the keys." The officer dropped his keys and said out loud: "Okay, I've locked the Crab Shack and hid the money inside. I'm going home." The officer walked away whistling. A while later, the officer stood next to Steven on the roof. "If the robber doesn't appear, are you guys prepared to do another shift?" "Of course, this is our problem too. He robbed the Big Donut! I've worked there and I'm not letting it get robbed again." "Good. Thanks kid." A bush rustled. "Guys, I just heard a bush rustling. Keep your guard up." Lapis said through her earphone. "Gotcha, L." Amethyst whispered. A mysterious shadow emerged from the bush. It walked towards the Crab Shack. "Guys, I think we have our suspect." Lapis said while she saw the figure enter the Crab Shack. "I'm going to stop it." Lapis jumped from the roof and took cover next to the door. Steven snuck to the door as well. "On three: THREE!" Steven kicked the door open and turned the lights on. There stood a guy with a ski mask. "Darn, gems!" He grabbed a gem destabilizer and pointed it towards Steven: "back off, kid. I won't hesitate." Steven ran to the man and grabbed the destabilizer and pulled it from the man's hand. He summoned his shield and threw it to the man, who deflected it with his arm. "It's no use, kid. This battle is already decided, so stop fi-" Lapis punched the man with a giant water fist, knocking him out. "How'd he deflect my shield? He's just a human. And where did he get that destabilizer?!" Wulfenite flew in, carrying Amethyst: "we missed it, didn't we?" Steven nodded: "Let's just get the officer and go to bed. I'm very tired."

The police officer arrived. "Good job, guys!" The officer took off the man's mask. "Holy mother of..! It's Noggman! The most sought after criminal in Delmarva!" "Really? What's his deal?" Lapis asked. The officer continued: "He's strong, stealthy and intelligent. He was a superhero for a short while, until his heroics led to his wife getting shot. Ever since, he has turned to the path of evil. He was doing everything to annoy the cops. Until today." Steven said: "That's so sad. I hope he realizes that evil isn't the solution. He's intelligent enough to understand." Steven helped the cop carry Noggman into the car. "Thanks again, guys. Couldn't have done it without you. This is gonna look good on my resume!" The cop drove off. "I'm beat. I'm going to sleep. Steven said; "Also, Peridot's working with Pearl on a new invention. She's staying with us for the night." Lapis poked her elbow in Wulfenite's stomach. Wulfenite winked at Lapis. "Okay then. Stay safe!" Wulfenite and Lapis flew back to the barn, as Steven and Amethyst made their way back to the temple.

"So, no Peridot today. You know what that means..." Lapis said excited. "But before we go to that part, let's watch that tv show you like." Wulfenite said. Lapis gasped: "R... Really?! You want to watch Camp Pining Hearts?" "Yeah sure, but only a few episodes. I want to get to the second part fast." "Alright! I'll start it up, so get comfortable and get ready." Wulfenite threw his cape off and sat on the couch : "It better be good." Wulfenite said. "Don't worry, you'll hate it." "Let's hope s-, wait what?" Lapis smiled at Wulfenite and sat next to him, wrapping her arm around him.
