Chapter 11

"Calm down, Steven, we're here. What do you need?" Pearl asked. "Wulfenite is going to battle you three!" Steven yelled. Pearl looked shocked. "It was her idea!" Wulfenite screamed as he hid behind Peridot. "He's right. I need a demonstration of his capabilities." Amethyst looked hyped up. Garnet summoned her gauntlets: "Then let's do this." "Surprising answer, though I was never going to take no for an answer." Peridot stated. Wulfenite came from behind Peridot: "Just like that?" "Of course. We are also curious about the result of this fight." Garnet said. Wulfenite summoned his staff and said: "Come at me."

A while later, Wulfenite found himself on the beach, facing the gems. Peridot and Steven were sitting on a rock at a safe distance from the battleground. The gems summoned their individual weapons. Wulfenite spun his staff around his body, threw it high up into the air and caught it mid air. Pearl wanted to smile, but forced herself to stay serious. "Woohoo! Wulfenite!" Peridot yelled. Wulfenite looked at the gems with a menacing stare. "Do you want me to go all in, or do we fight without poofing?" Garnet said: "Come at us with all your might." Wulfenite nodded and rushed towards Garnet, who prepared her fists in front of her face, but Wulfenite thudded into her stomach with his staff, whipped it up and slammed the staff on top of Garnet's head and finished with a kick, pushing her away. Amethyst ran towards Wulfenite, whipped the staff and pulled it out of Wulfenite's hand. He dodged an incoming attack with a backflip, kicked Amethyst in the face and picked up his staff. He saw Pearl approaching and kicked up a sandstorm with his cape. When the sand subsidized, Wulfenite was out of sight. Pearl looked around her and got shot in the back. Pearl jumped up and shot at Wulfenite, who reflected all the shots, but he got punched in the back by an angry Garnet. He turned around, slammed his staff against Garnet's gauntlets and got slashed in the back by Pearl. Wulfenite tried to hit her in the stomach, but he got whipped by Amethyst. He was trapped! Garnet readied a punch, but Wulfenite bursted free from the whip, punched Pearl in the stomach, uppercutted her and kicked Garnet away. He jumped up into the air, shot Amethyst and crashed his staff into Garnet, poofing both her and Amethyst. Pearl surrendered. "You did it!" Peridot yelled. She ran towards him and climbed onto his back. Pearl clapped for Wulfenite. "Congratulations, you are better than the crystal gems combined. Well done." "Well, I haven't fought Steven, yet." Wulfenite said jokingly. Amethyst reformed. "That was awesome! You're so strong, man!" Wulfenite was flattered and replied: "Thanks, Amethyst. You did good, too." Amethyst blushed: "Aw thanks, Wulfenite." Peridot jumped off Wulfenite and said: "So, that concludes my speculation. Wulfenite is capable of fighting two gems and a fusion at the same time." Wulfenite laughed. He quickly said: "Don't worry, guys. I was made to defeat the diamonds, you guys are not weak, I am just strong." Peridot asked: "I know now that you can defeat the gems, but can you defeat alexandrite?" Wulfenite got confused: "Who's that?" Pearl said: "Alexandrite is the fusion of me, Amethyst and Garnet, Who still hasn't reformed..." Wulfenite nodded in understanding. "Let's save that fight for another day." He said.
