It was morning time. The sun emitted a beam that was shining in Wulfenite's eye. It woke him up. Wulfenite stretched his arms out and looked next to him and noticed that Peridot wasn't there. "Huh? Where's Peridot?" Wulfenite asked himself. He jumped out of bed and roamed around the barn. "Peridot?!" Wulfenite yelled. No response. He walked outside, where he found Peridot. She was lifting metal cans with her ferrokenesis. "Good morning Peridot!" Wulfenite yelled. Peridot turned her head and saw Wulfenite waving at her. "Heya! I see you got up!" Peridot dropped the cans and ran towards Wulfenite. "I've been up for an hour, I think. Did you sleep well?" Peridot asked. "I slept very good. So, what's on the agenda?" "Steven is coming over in a few minutes, we're probably going to swim in the lake in the middle of the forest." "Swimming? Sounds like fun! Hold up, I'm going to get something." Wulfenite rushed inside the barn. A while later, he ran out again: "I can't find it." "Oh. Well, what was it?" "It was my favorite to-" Wulfenite was interrupted by Steven, who came running in his swimming attire. "Hey guys!" Wulfenite and Peridot waved at Steven. "Are you two ready? Oh yeah, Wulfenite, we're going swimming in the lake!" Steven yelled exited. "I was notified." Wulfenite said; "Well then, shall we move out?" "I'm ready," Steven said; "how about you, Peridot?" "I'm all set. Let's go!"
Steven, Wulfenite and Peridot had arrived at the lake. Steven rolled out a blanket, took off his shirt and jumped into the water. "Woah! It's really cold!" He said shivering. "Good thing I don't feel temperature!" Wulfenite yelled as he dove into the water. Wulfenite resurfaced and saw Peridot looking at the water. She was crouching next to the lakeside. She touched the water. "It feels like... rain?" "Peridot, don't you know water is rain? It's just called rain because it falls from the sky."Steven told Peridot, who was still dipping her finger in the water. "I think I get it..." Peridot said. Wulfenite summoned his staff and said: "Hey Steven, watch this:" Wulfenite spun the staff around underwater. It reached incredible speed, forcing Wulfenite backwards. He made a circle around the lakeside and then returned to Steven. "Woah! It works like a rotor?" Steven said amazed. "What's a rotor?" Wulfenite asked. "It's that spinning thing behind a boat." Wulfenite looked vaguely at Steven. "You'll get it eventually." Steven sighed. "Didn't that spinning make you tired?" Steven asked. Wulfenite put away his staff and said: "Well, I don't get tired easily, but it does require some strength. Luckily, I have plenty of strength." Peridot looked up from the water and said: "But how much do you really have? Do you have enough to take down the crystal clods?" Wulfenite turned around: "Well, I don't want to brag, but I think I do." Peridot stood up: "Then how about we test it out. Tomorrow at the temple?" "I don't really want to fight the gems that I've only known for two days, but If you can get them to fight me, I'll be there." "Great. Now let's go home. I'm done looking at water." "Yeah, I'm done too." Steven said; "Let's go, guys." Steven and Wulfenite got out of the lake. Wulfenite blew all the water from Steven's body using his cape. "Nice and clean. We'll see you tomorrow at the temple, Steven." "Okay! See you tomorrow!" Steven jumped on the warp pad close to the lake and warped back to the temple. "Tomorrow's going to be a big day." Wulfenite said. "Yeah, I can't wait to measure your strength against those clods!" "It will be a great battle." Wulfenite lifted Peridot on his shoulder and took off, back to the barn.
