"So, possessed Ruby wanted to send me into space?" Wulfenite asked. Pearl nodded: "She forced us to go along with it and since we couldn't beat her, we just went along, hoping you'd stop her, which you did." "I'm just glad you didn't end up lost up there, Wulf." Amethyst said laughing. Wulfenite grabbed a pair of tweezers and looked through a microscope. "It's always handy to have one of these nearby. Smart of you, Steven." "Oh, what can I say." Steven said with a smug face. Wulfenite carefully grabbed the computer chip and analyzed it. He gave Ruby to Sapphire: "Make sure the next mission doesn't corrupt her." "I'll make sure of it. She's a little troublemaker." Sapphire hugged Ruby's gemstone. "It looks like this chip is Homeworld property. Where did you guys go?! What if this thing has tracking capabilities?" Wulfenite said shocked. He analyzed the backside: "Never mind, I know this type. It's just a corrupter. We're still safe, but don't let this happen again. Look after each other." Wulfenite patted Sapphire. "What's going on here?!" Peridot and Lapis stood in the doorway. "I thought you were going to give them no mercy?!" Peridot yelled. "Calm down, Peridot. It has all been solved." Pearl said. "Shut up, you clod! I want to speak to Wulfenite!" Wulfenite stepped forward. "Peridot, Ruby was corrupted by a type five corrupter. You should know about it. She'd lost control and started an alliance against me. I managed to remove the chip and Ruby should be back to normal." Peridot was relieved: "We heard a giant roar, What was that?" "Hehe, that was Alexandrite. Ruby forced the gems to fuse and beat me, which didn't work of course." "Are you saying you won?!" Lapis said surprised. "Yup." Wulfenite said smug. "That's incredible! I couldn't even beat her!" Wulfenite looked shocked at Lapis: "Eh? Did you fight her? Why?" "Well, didn't I tell you about the time I was stuck in a mirror? Well, quickly after Steven freed me, I ran back to Homeworld, only to get captured by Jasper, that's right. The one you fought. She locked me in Peridot's ship and used me as their informant. Then, we flew back to earth to capture the crystal gems. We succeeded and took off back to Homeworld, only to get beaten by the gems. Then, Jasper forced me to fuse with her. I did, only to protect Steven. I dragged her into the sea and we remained there for quite some time. Then, it happened. Jasper took control. We came back to the surface only to encounter Alexandrite. we fought, but she won." Wulfenite had a blank stare. He walked back and fell over the couch. He lied on the floor and kept lying there for a while. Then he stood up again. "WHAT?!" Wulfenite fainted. "Give him some time. This was a lot of information. I'll help carrying him to his bed." Garnet said. She'd fused during Lapis's story. She picked up Wulfenite with one hand. "Let's go." Garnet said and she jumped through the roof. "How nice." Lapis said. She walked up to Peridot, grabbed her and flew back to the barn as Peridot waved goodbye to Steven.
"His bed's up there." Lapis said as she pointed up. Garnet saw the bed and jumped up to put Wulfenite in the bed. "Wait! How am I gonna be able to get in there?" Peridot asked. Garnet raised an eyebrow and said: "I thought Lapis was his girlfriend." Lapis reacted: "I am, but Peridot is really scared of Homeworld and feels safe next to Wulfenite, even though he'd protect her even if she was sleeping in the hammock." Peridot blushed and said: "B- But then I'm scared he won't notice me getting abducted!" Lapis sighed and laid down in her hammock: "Sure, Peridot." Garnet threw Peridot up into the bed: "Hey! That could've ended with me getting hurt! Watch out next time, clod! And wow thanks!" Garnet said her goodbyes and warped back to the temple. Peridot clamped onto Wulfenite and fell asleep.
