Wulfenite dive bombed through the roof, crashing the table underneath him. "Oops, sorry Steven." Steven didn't seem to care. "And? And?" He yelled; "How'd it go?" Wulfenite said: "If I am on a mission, it never fails. Except that one time." Wulfenite grabbed his pouch and put Ruby and Sapphire on the table. "Garnet was destabilized. Looks like humans have access to gem technology now. She needs some time. She'll be back." Steven looked at the gems with a frown. "I'm getting too used to seeing gems in gem form." He said. "Have you ever been poofed? Can you even get poofed?" Wulfenite asked Steven, who said: "No and I don't know, since I'm half human, I shouldn't be able to." Wulfenite chuckled and said: "When was the last time someone wasn't meant to be able to do a certain thing and couldn't?" "What?" Steven thought about it for a while. "Well, I better get going." Wulfenite said; "Tell Garnet the situation was handled and all the gems are in her temple room." Steven nodded and saw Wulfenite flying off. "Funny guy, I wonder why he's always so happy, after everything he's been through."

Wulfenite landed back at the barn, where he saw Peridot and Lapis cutting crops with water and a piece of iron. He thought It'd be fun to hide in the cornfield and wait for them to come by, so he did. When the first batch of crops were almost cut, Peridot and Lapis neared the cornfield. In one cut, the whole field was bare, including Wulfenite's spot. He jumped up at the last second. He positioned himself on the car in the barn. He threw a rock towards the gems. It landed in front of Peridot. "Hey! Don't throw rocks at me, clod!" Peridot yelled at Lapis. "I'm not throwing rocks, Peridot." "Yes you are! Who else is here to throw rocks at me? Pumpkin?! Because I believe Pumpkin is nicer than that, Lapis." Wulfenite quickly jumped down and said: "Peridot calm down! I threw the rock. I tried to grab you guys's attention. Guess I shouldn't do that." Peridot blushed ashamed: "Oh... that explains it. I think I owe you an apology, Lapis. I'm sorry." Lapis looked unamused at Peridot. "It's okay, Peridot." Lapis gave Wulfenite a hug: "I've missed you. How was the mission?" "It was quite fun, we stopped a crime organization in Brazil." "What's a Brazil?" "I don't know, but it was a good deed. Garnet got poofed in the process, though." Lapis couldn't control her laugh and tried to cover her mouth, but ended with a bubble of water surrounding her head. Wulfenite looked at Peridot, who looked unamused to Wulfenite. They shared the lack of emotion. Lapis got rid of the bubble and pulled a straight face. "Okay, I'm done laughing." "Good." Wulfenite said. He quickly remembered his promise: "Hey, didn't I promise you two that I was going to teach you the art of battle?" Peridot and Lapis looked at Wulfenite, their eyes lit up. Peridot yelled: "yeah, you did!" Wulfenite said: "Well, since I'm home early, shall we begin?" Peridot jumped up and down while Lapis got ready. "Okay, meet me here in a few. We'll begin lesson one here." Wulfenite told the gems. They split up: Wulfenite flew to get some training equipment, Peridot got Pumpkin and helped, while Lapis took a quick clean up in the pool.
