Wulfenite floated down with his cape. There were more gems! Two more! The big gem turned around and drew her gauntlets: "You! Stay where you- wait... Wulfenite? What are you doing here? Are you here to take us back? Because we won't be going with you!" Wulfenite replied in shock: "How do you know me? Who are you?" The gem said: "You'll probably recognize us once we unfuse." Garnet said and she unfused. A shock went through Wulfenite. A Ruby and a Sapphire, right in front of him! Then he remembered: "You're that Ruby that went rogue! Hahaha! Blue Diamond told me everything! You fused with another gem, which should be Blue Diamond's personal Sapphire, and fled! And you are that Sapphire! I assigned you the Rubies!" Ruby and Sapphire smiled for a bit but realized what stood in front of them. "You are friends with Homeworld!" Ruby yelled angrily. Wulfenite quickly replied: "Not anymore! I went rogue too! On the day the gem war preparations took place. A long time ago, they were going to shatter my dearest! I couldn't let that happen. Even if it meant leaving Homeworld, which I ended up doing." Ruby calmed down and fused with Sapphire. Garnet said: "That's more like it." Garnet said and she hugged the confused Wulfenite. Pearl walked towards Garnet, saying: "The glass is gone on the south side of the bea-" she quickly covered her mouth. She couldn't believe who was standing there. "W...Wulfenite?" Wulfenite looked at Pearl, as tears shot into his eyes. Wulfenite said: "Pearl! So this is where you were? All those years after you left me for Rose?" Pearl sobbed: "I.. I'm so sorry, Wulfenite, I never meant it as a personal thing. I did it to save innocent gems. Homeworld did the wrong thing. Please, Wulfie, forgive me. Please don't take me back there." Wulfenite answered: "I am so proud of you, girl. I know Homeworld did the wrong thing. That's why I'm here on earth. I left with my dearest to find a place far away from Homeworld." Pearl looked up, shocked. "You left?!" Wulfenite nodded, still crying. Pearl hugged Wulfenite tightly. "It's been too long, but it isn't too late." Pearl said with tears streaming down her face. From the distance, Amethyst walked up to the gems. "All clear on the east side, G." Amethyst noticed the gem in front of her: "Who's this guy?" Wulfenite wiped away his tears. "I'm Wulfenite, son of the Diamonds! You look like an Amethyst. Were you by any chance born on this planet?" Amethyst answered confused: "Yeah I am, how do you know? Actually, I don't care. More importantly, why are you two crying?" Pearl answered: "Remember all those stories about Homeworld? And that guy with a pure heart and more willpower in him than food in you? This is him. This is Wulfenite." Amethyst looked at Wulfenite. "Dang Pearl! You never told me he was this good looking!" Amethyst said. Wulfenite blushed. Amethyst continued: "You're... you're no longer with Homeworld, right?" Wulfenite answered: "No. Not since they tried to shatter my dearest. I miss her so much, I'll destroy anyone who's been keeping her captive. Anyone. Have you guys seen her, by any chance? She's blue, around Pearl's size in length and she has wings. Well, She can summon them, I mean." Amethyst wanted to tell him, but Pearl put her hand on Amethyst's mouth. "I don't recall anyone looking like that. Do you guys?" Pearl looked afraid back to Garnet. "No." Garnet answered. She knew what was at stake. Wulfenite looked down sad. "I guess she's really gone forever." "Cheer up, Wulfenite! We'll find her! She might be somewhere on this planet." Pearl said. "You're right. I'm not done looking yet." Wulfenite said as he looked out on the sea.
