Ilang beses na akong tumatawag kay Rodleigh but no answer, yet his phone keep on ringing. He is probably in the middle of meeting or doing something important. 

I just told Keisxia that her dad were busy. She did not say anything and remain silent. I need to do something, kailangan ko muna siyang libangin habang wala pa akong natatanggap na kung ano mula kay Rodleigh. Although, i know that Keisxia don't forget some of things easily.

Perks of being a smart kid, i guessed.

"Anak, want to do something for daddy?" Nag-angat siya ng tingin.

"Is he coming?" She asked in a small voice.

"I told 'ya, anak. Your daddy is busy. Let's just bake for him while waiting for his call 'kay? And if we don't receive anything. I'll just bring you to his office, how's that?"

Nakita ko ang pagliwanag ng mukha niya sa narinig. Kapagkuwan ay niyakap niya ako sa leeg at paulit-ulit na hinalikan sa mag-kabilang pisngi. How i love seeing my daughter be this happy.

"I do love that, mommy! Thank you so much, I love you!!"

"And you know that, mommy is willing to do anything for her baby girl right?"

"You're the best mom in this universe!" She said loudly while trying to make a big circle through her arms.

I think my daughter already feel what i feel towards my parents. I am one of the luckiest too! I have a great and wonderful parents in this whole universe! I won't hesitate to shout the world how lucky i am. But if i just can.

"Come on, mommy! Its bake time!" Hinihila niya na iyong kamay ko patayo. See how fast she changed her mood? Kaya hindi na ako nagtaka na agad niyang natanggap ang daddy niya. Not just i don't want to. Ofcourse i do think first what she will feel, kung magagalit ba siya dito or what. But, i remember she have her daddy Eko. The daddy of hers that will guide her through the right path.

We started picking out all the ingredients were going to use. Keisxia wants to bake cookies for her dad. Choice is hers, siya naman ang magbibigay sa daddy niya.

Inihanda ko na rin iyong mga gagamitin sa pagbe-bake. This can be done quickly. Pag natapos ito at wala parin akong matanggap galing kay Rodleigh, wala akong magagawa kung hindi dalhin doon si Keisxia, as what i have said.

"Yay! Time to put it into oven!" As she tried to put a batch of it inside. Inalalayan ko lang siya, she is that persistent to bake it by herself. So, i let her.

Napalingon ako sa may sala nang marinig kong tumutunog ang cellphone ko. Is it him? Iniwan ko si Keisxia sa kusina, just to pick my phone up. Nang makita kung sino ang caller ay hindi nga ako nagkamali ng hinala. It's him, Rodleigh.

"Fvck, fvck, fvck it!"

I did not speak up when i heard him cussing roughly.

"Waff, i'm so sorry. My cellphone were on a silent mode, i was in the middle of meeting when you call, i guessed?" Mahinahon na iyong boses niya nang mag-salita siya.

"Its o-okay. Uh, i just called to inform you that Keisxia wants to see you." He did not respond. Ang narinig ko lang ay may tinawag siya.

"Cancel all my appointments for this day, yes. Thank you." Iyon ang narinig ko sa kabilang linya habang naglalakad pabalik sa kusina. Geez! He is busy!

"Rod, pwedeng sa susunod ka nalang pumunta. Look, you are busy, maiintindihan naman iyon ni Keisxia. Baka marami ka pang gagawin." Nag-aalangan kong saad, nahihiya dahil pakiramdam ko ay naka-disturbo ako sa kaniya.

"No. I'm coming. Wala ba kayo gustong ipabili? Fastfood, dessert, or something?"

"Nah. Keisxia baked cookies for you." Ramdam kong natigilan siya. Was it surprising? Oh, i think it's a yes for him.
