Anthony's POV

It was Friday! We were doing two shows tonight. Playing in Hamilton was probably the best thing I've done so far, ever. One reason was because that's how I met my amazing girlfriend, Jasmine Cephas Jones. I honestly have no clue what I'd do without her. She's perfect in every single way. I love her more than anything. Being able to dance with her during Helpless is amazing. But then there's Say No To This...

Jazzy being Maria causes a lot of different thoughts from me. She looks absolutely gorgeous as Maria, that's for sure. But then there's the whole... thing.. with Lin. I'm honestly glad I'm not on stage during that.

We were currently on our second show of the night. I had just gotten off-stage for Take A Break, after Phillip's poem. The audience always loves it. Jazzy was waiting when I got off, sitting against a wall. I made my way over to her and sat down. She smiled when she saw me. "You did good out there. I mean... you always do." she said.

I chuckled. "Thanks, Jaz. You're pretty good yourself."

It was her turn to laugh. "You're too kind, sir," she sang in her Maria voice. We both laughed. She moved over toward me and laced our hands together. I smiled at her and we talked lightly until the dreaded song started. I stood up with her, and she kissed me quickly before hurrying to get on stage.

I sighed, watching her run off. I heard footsteps behind me. "You really don't like this, do you?" I turned to see Daveed.

I shook my head. "Nope. She does amazing at it... but it just bothers me, man."

"You know she loves you a lot, right? Besides, she nor Lin would ever do anything. Lin has Vanessa, who he loves a lot," Daveed replied.

I knew he was right. I looked back at the stage, and Daveed moved next to me.

"This one's mine, sir."

I grimaced. "I don't know if I should be happy or upset."

Daveed chuckled. "It appears you're rather upset. Is someone jealous~?"

I opened my mouth to reply, but closed it. He was right again.

"That's what I thought, Ant."

I watched as Jazzy went to Lin and immediately turned around. "Is this what you do everytime?" he asked.

I nodded. "I don't watch it. I can't watch it."

"Why's that? I know you're upset over it... but what's the other part?"

"...The other part is I don't wanna watch some other dude kiss my girl." (that's an actual quote from Anthony, when he was asked about Jazzy and Lin in Say No To This. he loves her so much ;w;)

Daveed came into my view again, nodding. "I understand. Just remember she loves you and you only, Ant." Daveed patted my back and went off to get ready for The Room Where It Happens. I noticed Say No To This was over. He actually kept me distracted...

I turned around right as Jazzy walked off-stage. She had a slightly distressed look on her face. I frowned. "What's wrong, Jaz? You did wonderful!"

She paused a moment. "Sometimes I love that song... sometimes I hate it. Today is the second one."

"Why?"

"It's just... I don't know... I'm just afraid the fans will get the wrong idea. I don't want them thinking I love Lin and not you."

I noticed the tears pricking the corner of her eyes. "Jaz, come here." I led her to the stairwell, where it was lighter. I pulled her to the side of the stairwell and immediately wrapped my arms around her. She hugged me back tightly.

"I'm sure the fans won't get the wrong idea, Jaz. They know it's a play. Besides, you do realize how much they love us together, right?"

Jazzy giggled slightly. "Yeah..."

When we released from the hug, I looked at her. "Trust me, you'll be okay. I'm sure Lin would change something up if he felt the fans were... thinking things."

She nodded. "You're right... thanks.."

I wiped the stray tears from her eyes, and pulled her into another hug. She rested her head against my chest. "You're welcome.. Anything to help you."

She smiled. "I love you so much, Ant."

I hugged her tightly. "I love you too, Jaz. More than anything."
