Today was marked as a dark day in our history. Martial Law was proclaimed in this day by a dictator we all know as Ferdinand Marcos.
For those who are Marcos apologists, I encourage you to change your mind about what happened. For those who still support Marcos, I want you to believe the truth.
Marcos will never be a hero.
Never forget the torture, the corruption, and all the bad things that happened during that time. Many lives were lost. Some still not found. A lot of people were broken apart while fighting for our freedom. What you enjoy now is because of them.
Believe me, I was told differently when I was a child up until high school. But UP introduced me to all the societal problems we're facing. And it's time to make a stand about it.
Never forget. Never again to dictatorship.
Stand, and fight.
