FINAL PART

(But there will be an epilogue next, tying any details I didn't put in here together)

Finn walks quickly down the street, his gun held tightly in his hand. The street is quiet, but gives off an extremely eerie feeling. His jaw is clenched as he walks with determination.

His princess could be hurt, and so help him, he would give hell to the people who hurt her.

Jacob had chosen a secluded location, far from populated civilization. Only a few houses occupied the spaces of the street.

He reaches the dark building, engraved with the letters do not enter. Of course, it was a classic Jacob Sartorious stunt to choose a location that may put his foe in danger. He takes a deep breath, building up all of his hatred and anger towards the man his age, and opens the door with a slight force.

The entrance to the building is empty, with dirty covers over furniture that clearly hadn't been in use for many years. Finn steps towards a room at the end of the hall with a dim light peeking from the door.

He hears soft voices from the other side of the door, and he stops a few feet away from the door, listening closely.

"I wonder when your little hero will show up." The cold voice of Jacob says, his voice harboring a menacing effect. Finn hears a noise of someone struggling, but it stops shortly after.

"Don't try. You can't get out of these ropes, they're modified by my workers." He states, and Finn hears a soft whimper.

"Please, just leave us alone." His heart shatters even more at the broken voice of his princess. A merciless laugh comes from Jacob, and Finn hears Jacob shift closer to what he assumes is Millie.

"And what exactly makes you think I will?" His words set off a bomb in Finn's mind, as he kicks the door open, holding his gun in aim position.

"You'll leave us alone as soon as I blow your brains out." He hisses, his eyes slit with anger.

"Finn!" Millie gasps, but Finn keeps his attention on Jacob.

"This has been going on for years. I think it's finally time we end this." Finn states, his words cold with hatred. Jacob smirks, but nods nonetheless. Although, past all of their hate, feuds, and battles, they thought similarly.

Jacob pulls a gun out from within his suit jacket, and lifts it. "Stop." Finn says suddenly, and Jacob furrows his eyebrows.

Finn rushes to Millie, and leans down next to her. "I need you to trust me, okay Millie?" His words are soft, as he takes out a hidden knife from his jacket. He cuts at the ropes, putting extra strength into the action to get through the thick ropes.

She nods, but she still feels unsure. This didn't sound good. End this, trust me, blow your brains out. Suddenly, everything clicks to Millie.

One of them was going to kill the other.

The ropes slide off Millie's body, and she stands up, wrapping her arms tightly around Finn's neck. He hugs her back, trying to hold onto every thing about her, before he may never see her again.

She sobs against his neck, as he feels some tears fall down his face. She was the first girl he ever loved, but it was too dangerous to put her life at risk to be with each other.

"I love you." He whispers against her hair, as she softly sobs. "I love you too."

They pull away, but their hands linger on each other. The world seemed to be crashing down upon them, but even then, they had to know they had each other.

"So sweet." Jacob sneers, his gun raised as he begins to slowly circle Finn. "Go." Finn whispers to Millie, who stares at him with wide eyes.

"Go!" He says louder, as he points his gun towards Jacob. She stares at him for a bit longer, trying to remember every feature about him.

Her eyes scan over all of the small freckles upon his face. Every feature she didn't look carefully at, which now she wished she had held closer to her heart.

"Please don't leave me." She whispers, before rushing out of the building as tears fall down her face rapidly.

Finn turns to Jacob, every reason to kill him rushing through his mind.

"Let's just get this over with, nice and simple, Wolfhard." Jacob circles around Finn, who joins him in his threatening action.

"You know, while we both may die anyways, I'm just going to say it. Jacob Sartorious, you are a coward." Finn states, his gun held tightly in his hands as he plans to stall Jacob until the right moment.

"Excuse me?" Jacob's hard tone drops for a moment, before he shakes it off, returning to their predator like state.

"You are a coward. You hide behind your minions and allies. You send people to do the things you are too afraid to do. You are a coward, and you have been since we were young."

Jacob lets out a shaky breath; not from fear, but to calm himself.

"And you are reckless, dangerous. You put everyone you love at risk, for what?" Jacob snidely replies, and Finn can't help but wince slightly at his truthful words

"Fuck you." Finn spits, and Jacob clenches the gun tightly. "Say goodbye, Wolfhard." He states, pulling the trigger.

But he isn't the only one with a trick up his sleeve. Finn quickly presses the red button, realizing now that he can no longer stall him. The building quickly sets fire, as it implodes from within.

Red and orange flames rise rapidly across the building, as the structure collapses. A beam of the ceiling falls onto Jacob, who lets out a mangled scream, before another one falls upon his chest.

His screams fall silent, as does any further movement from him. Finn doesn't have time to feel satisfied however, as the floor crumbles beneath him.

He closes his eyes, accepting that what is to come will help end the war between the companies, once and for all.

Millie screams as the building falls to the ground, and the other workers rush towards it. They all arrive with crestfallen expressions, their hearts breaking for their beloved boss.

The one person out of the many workers who did not show up, however, was Natalia. But even Gaten showed up, after being alerted of the situation.

Everyone falls silent, their tears dripping down their faces. Millie feels her heart get ripped out of her chest, as she sobs loudly.

The building is soon visible, as the ashes begin to reside peacefully. Millie rushes towards the remainder of the building, ignoring everyone's shouts.

She scans the area, coughing as some of the ashes rise into her mouth. She rushes to a pile of burnt ceiling beams, and with all of her strength, she pushes them off.

Her heart breaks when she sees Finn, lying on the ground peacefully. He almost appeared to be sleeping, but she knew he was not. His curly hair was dirty, as was the rest of his face and clothes, but Millie doesn't care as she wraps her arms around his body, pulling him towards her.

She clutches his body tightly, sobbing as she doesn't feel a heart beat.

"You weren't supposed to leave me!" She shouts, her tears mixing with the ashes. She rocks back and forth, feeling every inch of her shaking.

"You weren't supposed to go!"

She drops her head to lay upon his blackened face.

"You were supposed to be my forever."
