Peter Parker walks in to the compound on Halloween with Ned at his side. Dozens of small Avengers, Spider-Men, and even tiny Pepper Potts' ran around holding buckets of candy, heading to staff members desks. Peter smiles.

Peter had dressed as Tony Stark, sporting a drawn-on goatee, a blazer with a cat shirt, and nice jeans. He had his hair gelled in a certain way to mimic Tony's. He also wore purple and orange aviator shades.

Ned had gone as a storm trooper, and had made his costume using the 3-D printer in the lab at school. He went around carrying a fake blaster that dispenses candy.

Both of their costumes looked really realistic, and both had been asked several times for pictures (which they were happy to agree to).

Peter located Tony in the crowd and tapped on his shoulder. Ned stood next to him. Tony turned around.

"Wow, that's a great costume. Consider me impressed. Did you want a picture? Autograph?" Tony said in a monotone voice.

Peter grinned and took the shades off. Tony's eyes widened. "Nah, I'm good." Peter says.

Tony laughs. "You look just like me!" Tony says. Peter beams. Tony pulls him in for a hug.

Peter hugs back and then pulls away. "This is my best friend, Ned." He says, introducing Ned. Ned takes his helmet off. Tony smiles and holds his hand out to him.

Ned stands there, mouth open slightly in shock. "H-Hi, sir." He shakes Tony's hand.

"Tony is fine." He says simply.

"O-okay. Hi, Tony."

Tony grins and turns to Peter. "Why can't you be like him? You just have a specific need to call me 'Mr.Stark'?"

Peter's grin falters, but remains. "Yep. You're forever 'Mr.Stark'."

Tony smiles awkwardly. "Well uh, enjoy yourself."

Peter smiles. "Yep!" He pulls Ned by the hand and quickly walks away.

Ned turns to Peter in shock. Peter smiles slightly at how excited his best friend looks. Peter felt slightly guilty by ignoring his excitement before. He pushes the guilt away.

"Did that just happen?" Ned asks, his voice slightly excited and shocked. Peter nods. Ned looks off distantly. He turns back to Peter. "Why don't you call him Tony, anyway?"

Peter shifts uncomfortably. He's never really told anyone why he refuses to call him 'Tony'. He looks around before dragging Ned into a more secluded spot. Ned looks at him in a confused manner.

"I don't call him 'Tony' because I feel like if I get any closer to him, he's gonna-" Peter cuts himself off. Ned looks at him apologetically. "I mean, my dad, Ben... I just-I can't let myself get that close. So I just call him 'Mr. Stark'." Peter explains, looking at the floor.

Ned hugs him. Peter hugs him back, thankful for the comfort. They pull away. "I'm sorry, Peter." Ned says. Peter shrugs and starts walking back to the main party area.

Peter gets himself and Ned a cup of punch. Peter takes a sip and scrunches his nose. "This is kinda gross."

Ned takes a giant gulp. "What are you talking about? It still delicious."

Peter hands over his cup to Ned. "You can have it. I'm gonna go catch up with Mr. Stark."

Ned nods and takes his cup.

Peter walks around the crowd, looking for Tony. A little kid pulls on his sleeve and he looks down to see a little boy in an IronMan mask. Peter blinks and gets on his knees to hear him better.
