Spider-Son and Iron Dad: the headcanons

•Peter loves it when people play with his hair. He just does.

•The first time Tony ruffles his hair, it was to tease him about not wearing hair gel for once.

•Peter has a whole audio and video file of him just ranting about how pretty Michelle Jones is, Tony doesn't comment on it just because he thinks it's adorable.

•Peter sometimes stays over at the Compound at the weekends. This is when movie nights usually happen, and also when Tony suspiciously goes to sleep earlier.

•Sometimes Peter gets nightmares over at the compound, and Tony will go to his room and talks until he relaxes.

•^^He usually talks about Star Wars, MIT with Rhodey, or sometimes he'll read one of the books on Peter's shelves. They all work pretty fast to calm Peter down.

•It took a very long time for Peter to open up to Tony, despite being talked about as "easy to crack."

•On Tony's bad days, he likes to bury himself in his labs, and the only person that he'll willingly leave for is Peter. He'll go hesitantly for Pepper and Rhodey, and he won't go at all for anybody else.

•Tony makes sure to go to every single school event that Peter has, and makes a point to donate a little money now and then whenever Peter complains about the computer lab or the broken chemistry equipment.

•When Tony gets nightmares, he tries not to go to the lab anymore. Instead he listens to Peter's voicemails, or if it's really bad, he's tried to confide in Pepper, which he's never really done before.

•Pepper has adopted to calling Peter 'kid'. That's not even a headcanon, that's true. Pepper called Peter 'kid' in Endgame.

•When Peter was snapped away, Tony was the most unstable he'd been in years. What's worse is that he had to push it all away to focus on getting back to Earth.

•When Tony first moved into the cabin, he printed out a photo of him and Peter to put somewhere in the house. However, it took him about a year to gather the courage and put it up.

•Tony told Morgan stories about Spider-Man all the time, and Morgan has a Spider-Man plushie somewhere in her room. Pepper had sewed it for her.

•When Peter came back, Tony was the most emotional the kid had ever seen him.

•Tony was there every step of the way when Peter had to adjust to being alive again, and frequently helped Peter stay grounded.

•Tony left an empty room for when they moved into the cabin, and left it empty the whole five years. When Peter came back, it was instantly turned into his room for if he wanted to stay over any time.

•Peter Parker got to call Tony Stark 'dad.'

•Tony Stark got to mentor Peter Parker until he was prepared for the world.
