Set In Stone

*Naomi's POV*

I wake up and look over to see a sleeping Mike. I roll over to kiss his head. "Wake up sleepyhead." He turns his head and looks at me.

"Good morning." He says.

"Good morning." He leans up and kisses me.

"I'm gonna make some coffee." He gets up and I follow him. He starts the coffee machine.

"So, remember last night when I said we needed to talk about something?"

"Yeah."

"Well, I got a job offer."

"That's amazing." He hugs me. "Where at?"

"It's in National city." His smile disappears.

"Oh, did you tell them the answer yet?"

"Not yet, I wanted to ask you first."

"Well, I think you should take it. If it's really what you wanna do then do it."

"You really think so?"

"Yeah I do."

"Well, the reason I'm asking you is because I was hoping you might wanna come with me."

"Will this make you happy?"

"Very."

"Then I'll go."

"Are you serious?" I smile.

"I'm serious."

"You are amazing." I hug him tight. "Thank you so much."

"Your welcome. I'm gonna give Alex a call really quick."

*Alex's POV*

My phone rings. I look at the caller ID and it says Mon-el so I answer it. "Hey Mon-el."

"Hi Alex, I need to tell you something." I look over at Kara sleeping on my couch so I step out of the room.

"What's up?"

"Um... I'm moving back to National City."

"Really, what made you change your mind?"

"Well, Naomi got a job offer there and she asked me to go with her so I said yes."

"Can you thank her for me." I hear him laugh.

"Yeah, I will."

"Where are you gonna live?"

"I'm not sure yet, we are gonna have to look at apartment listings and I'm gonna have to transfer to another restaurant there."

"Okay, I can help you with that, I've got connections."

"Sounds great thank you."

"So, what are you gonna do about Kara?"

"What do you mean?"

"I mean, you're probably gonna see her everyday."

"Where?"

"You're coming back to the D.E.O. right?"

"Alex."

"Mon-el we could really use the help."

"Okay, yeah sure."

"Thank you, how long will it be before you're here?"

"I'm not sure, sometime soon. There is all the packing and moving. Before that we have to find a place to live."

"Alex, who's that?" Kara asks.

"It's nobody, go lay back down." She nods and goes back to the couch.
