"Mommy, mommy! You stand here and put your hands up!" Logan instructed his mother at the game they were playing in the living room. "Jack is the bank robber and he's stealing the money from you."

"Yeah, give me the money mom!" Jack said with the bandana tied over his mouth, asking as his mask.

Nina pretended to be frightened as she handed over the bag full of toy money and Jack snatched it before starting to run away. Logan quickly signaled his little brother and said, "Let's get him Ryan! We have to arrest him!"

Chris smiled as he walked down the stairs and heard Nina's adorable laughter and he walked into the living room just in time to see Logan tackle his older brother to the ground while he and Ryan tried to put the toy handcuffs on him. As Jack tried to wrestle away, Sophie came toddling over, babbling, "Me play, me play!" before flopping on the pile of boys.

"Sophie!" Logan whined loudly. "We're trying to arrest Jack!"

"Well you're not going to get him like that," Chris told the boys while he walked over to scoop up their little girl, blowing on her stomach to make her squeal and squirm in his arms. "You guys have to pin his legs and shoulders otherwise he's going to be able to flip you both over since he's bigger than you."

"Thanks dad!" Logan was happy for the pointers while Jack kept trying to get away.

While the three boys wrestled on the floor, Chris went over to plop down on the couch next to Nina. Chris pressed a big kiss on Sophie's cheek before he put her down on the floor and let her toddle over to where she had some toys.

Chris took the opportunity to wrap his muscular arms around his wife's slender frame and hold her close. He pressed a kiss to the top of her head while she rubbed her hand over his toned chest. The pair watched their children playing and Nina couldn't help but laugh, "We probably shouldn't be letting our children tackle one another."

"It keeps them from trying to tackle us," Chris joked, making her laugh.

"Well I still can't get you to stop tackling me upstairs in bed," Nina softly said while giving him a cute smirk.

His lips curled into a grin as one of his big hands slipped under her tee shirt to rest on her waist as he told her, "I've not heard you complaining either."

Nina just giggled sweetly before pecking at his lips and then snuggled back down against his chest. Sarge wandered into the room and hopped up on the couch, laying with his humans and watched the children with Chris and Nina.

The younger boys both were laying on top of Jack, still attempting to handcuff him but at one point when Jack tried to roll over, Ryan didn't expect the movement and it sent him tumbling to the floor. The parents felt like they were watching in slow motion as he fell onto his back and hit his head on the carpeted floor. It wasn't hard enough to really hurt him but enough to startle the young boy and make his head ache for a moment. Instantly the tears started flowing and the brothers were quickly at his side to make sure he was alright.

"RyRy, I'm sorry, I didn't mean to hurt you!" Jack quickly apologized.

"You're not bleeding Ryan, you're okay," Logan tried to comfort him.

In an instant, Nina was over with the boys and scooped up Ryan. She carried him back to the couch and cradled him against her chest, rubbing his back as he cried. Chris admired the way his sweet wife so tenderly comforted their son, letting him cry as she kissed him and assured him he was alright. She was nurturing to the core and the boys always instantly went to their mother if they ever were hurt or were in need of her gentle comfort.

"Dad, I'm sorry, I didn't mean for Ryan to get hurt," Jack came over to apologize to his father.

Chris leaned forward, hugging Jack and kissing his forehead before he told him, "It's alright buddy, it was just an accident."

By this point, Ryan's startled tears had died down and Chris watched as Nina held him in her lap and looked at his little tear stained face. She wiped away each tear before kissing his cheeks softly and then asked, "Does your head still hurt, honey?"

"A little," He sniffled.

"Where does it hurt?" She sweetly asked.

Ryan's big blue eyes looked at his mother before pointing to the spot on his head that hurt so she leaned in and gave him a gentle kiss on the spot, asking him, "Does that feel better?"

"Mhmm," He nodded.

"Why don't you go into the kitchen with your brothers and get a popsicle," She gave him one last kiss to the cheek before he let out a happy cheer and the three then raced off to get the box from the freezer.

Chris took advantage of the quiet moment to lean in and press a deep kiss to his wife's lips. She was smiling widely as they parted and Chris rubbed his warm hand on her arm while praising her, "You're such an amazing mom, Nina. I don't know how I got so lucky."

"Well that works out well because I feel the same way about you," She pecked at his lips. "What time are you leaving?"

Chris looked at his watch, thinking about how long it would take to drive to the bar he was meeting some of his fellow officers at and told Nina, "I probably should go now. I don't think I'm going to stay too long though."

"Why's that?" She asked, getting up to grab his coat for him while he slipped his shoes on.

He finished tying the laces and then stood up, walking over to kiss Nina again before telling her, "Because I want to come back and spend time with my amazing family."

Almost right on cue, the boys all came racing back in to give their dad hugs and kisses along with Sophie before he left. Chris made sure each one got affection, as well as his sweet Nina before he squatted down to look at the three boys.

"Alright boys, take care of your mom and sister while I'm gone," He instructed them. "Show me your scary faces!"

The three boys all let out a "Grrrrrrr!" While making the scariest faces they could... which weren't scary at all, but adorable as could be. Nina and Chris both softly laughed before he gave them all one last hug and then headed out. When Chris reached the bar though, he only stayed long enough to have a couple drinks and then ended up leaving, longing to spend every moment he could with the family that he loved so dearly.
