A COUPLE OF HOURS LATER...

- "Guys ... we're going to leave you alone. Don't do anything that we wouldn't and ... if you do it... don't get caught, okay?" - said Mr. Suttiluk at the threshold of the door.

The door closed quietly a few seconds later, leaving Kongpob and Arthit alone.

Both of them looked at each other, then smiled with reddened cheeks.

- "I'm sorry about my father ..." - Kong muttered while rubbing his neck.

He was a little embarrassed.

When he had told his father that he wanted to see Arthit, he had never imagined that he would find himself in a situation like this.

"And it seems that my mother hasn't either...", he thought as he remembered her surprised expression and how his father had ended up having to get her out of the private room.

- "Your mother ... it seems that she is not very happy ..." - Arthit muttered without stop looking at the door that had just closed.

Kongpob frowned.

"Thank you mom ... thanks for complicating it even more"

- "It's not because of you, much less because of your family. It's just that she doesn't like not knowing what's going on ..." - answered Kong as he picked up his glass of iced coffee and raised it to his lips.

Arthit nodded although, by his expression, he did not seem very convinced.

- "Really?" - asked the young man with a thin voice and a clearly guilty expression - "is not because of the car accident? Or the lie?"

Kongpob laughed as he shook his head.

- "It's rather that she doesn't like that I have not told her anything of what I intended to do before coming here ..."

"As if.."

"As if I was going to tell her," the young man said to himself, "she already boycotted it once ... I was not going to let her do it a second time".

Meanwhile, Arthit had raised his face to gaze at the young man sitting next to him.

- "I do not understand anything ... what do you mean?"

Kongpob smiled.

- "Only that it's time we have that date, do not you think?" - He said as he approached Arthit and placed a kiss on his cheek - "after all it has been delayed for several months already..."

A FEW MONTHS LATER...

Arthit smiled as he watched his brother run along the beach followed closely by Chanyeol.

"They seem happy ...", he said to himself, "I hope that everything goes well for them..."

Even though...

"Even when they cannot be happier than myself now," he thought as he looked at his hand.

Specifically the finger where, since a few weeks ago, he was wearing his engagement ring.

Arthit still remembered the moment in which Kongpob had revealed to him that the person he was supposed to meet in that blind date had been no other than him

Arthit still remembered the moment in which Kongpob had revealed to him that the person he was supposed to meet in that blind date had been no other than him.

But that, unfortunately, his uncle had found out and convinced his mother to send someone who, according to him, was a better match for his beloved grandson.

"And to think that he did everything in order to keep the company for himself...", Arthit thought as he let out a sigh, "he even used his own sister".

- " What are you thinking about?" - Kong asked as he approached him with two ice cream cones, one of strawberry and the other one of coffee flawor.

- "On how we have finished like this..., being together" - the young man replied while smiling at the person with whom, in a few weeks, he was going to get married - "Your uncle had planned it to the smallest detail ... if it is not for Baek ... "

The young man's escape from his engagement had been the last part of a very well-planned plan that should end with an accident in the house on the coast and in the unfortunate death of his grandson.

But luckily the car accident had made Toptap's plan fail and the young man ended up in the house of a very good friend of his father who had immediately informed him of what was happening.

"I do not even want to think what would have happened if Baek did not run over Kong that day..."

Kongpob sighed as he nodded slightly.

- "Yes, but in the end everything went well and here we are, two weeks before our wedding".

Arthit smiled as he felt Kongpob's arm go down his back.

- "I can not wait for you to finally be all mine ..." - Kong muttered in the young man's ear making him blush.

- "Was not enough last night?" - replied Arthit with his cheeks completely red.

Kong smiled as he shook his head.

- "You know I'll never have enough of you .." - he mused as he cast at him a look full of desire that made the young man's heart jump in his chest.

- "Then ... why do not we let my brother here, having fun on the beach, and we go back to the hotel room?" - Arthit proposed as he got up and, with a shy look, began to walk towards the building that was only several meters away.

Of course, not before saying goodbye to Baek who, at that time, was being dragged into the water by a smiling Chanyeol.

Kongpob smiled and followed his fiancé, catching up with him in a few steps.

And, with a smile, he took his hand on his.

Letting their engagement rings shone under the sunset sun while they started walking towards the hotel and towards a new stage in their lives.

A much better one.

A much better one
