H7: EPILOGUE II (ENGLISH)

THAT SAME DAY...

Night closed the office door with a smile on his lips.

It was finally nine o'clock at night and his work schedule was over. It had been too many hours ... six in total ...in which he had been away from his Earth and, to tell the truth, he was already missing him like crazy.

"I never thought it would be like this..." he told himself as he remembered his short crush on Emma. And, he had to admit that his feelings for her could not have been more different from those he now was feeling for his own boyfriend.

Yes ... HIS BOYFRIEND ... at least since the previous day.

The young man couldn't help himself and smiled, feeling the happiest man in the world.

After all, it had been so many weeks ... even months! ... in which he had only been able to dream of Earth while, through his mind, a thousand and one reasons passed telling him why the young man would never notice him ... that he would never be his.

Especially as, like what happened with Emma, ​​Earth was too in love with Sam to forget him and give someone else a chance.

Or so he had believed ...

Night smiled ... remembering the young man that, that same morning, had said goodbye to him while kissing him, quite possessively, in the middle of the street.

- "I just hope that this time everything will go perfect. I really want him to be my last one..." - he whispered as he walked towards the building's elevator. All this while imagining what his life would be from now on ... next to Earth.

- "Wow...I have never seen you  this happy..."

Night, who had just entered the elevator without even checking if it was empty, lifted his face to look at a young man who, leaning his back on the wall, was staring at him with a smile on his handsome face.

- "Xiu!"

The young man laughed and, after moving away from the wall, approached Night... now with a slight frown on his face.

- "I see that you, at least, can remember my name ... because, by your expression, it seems to me that you have even forgotten that we have a dinner date tonight".

Night paled.

- "Shiiiiiaa ..." - he whispered, moments later, while holding a hand to his forehead. As ... without a doubt ... what his friend was saying was completely true.

It had already been planned for days... to have some food and drinks after the young man's return from his last tournament ... tournament that, by the way, his team had won easily.

- "Congratulations!" - Night, then, exclaimed as he approached Xiu and hugged him cheerfully - "You are the best in the world!".

The young man, with his cheeks slightly flushed, nodded while pointing towards the open doors of the elevator and making a gesture to Night to follow him.

- "Thank you and I ... I also wanted to say sorry for what happened on the last day we met. I never imagined that he ... that he would even hit you ..."

However Night, with a smile, shook his head and, taking the young man by the arm, made him start walking toward the main exit of the building.

- "Don't even mention it ... besides, that means he cares"

A couple of hours later ....

The restaurant was practically full but Xiu, as always, had talked a couple of minutes with the owner to end up returning to the place where Night was waiting for him with a smile and a solicitous waiter beside him.

- "Please, follow me ..." - said the young man dressed in black and white. To which both of them nodded quickly.

"I hope Earth doesn't get angry over this ..." Night told himself as he frowned.

As... after all, he had not been able to do otherwise. He had made that promise to Xiu before even starting going out with Earth and... and ... he had never broken a promise.

- "Well? Has he arrived yet?" - he asked Xiu while taking a seat in one of the empty chairs that were next to the large windows from which he could see the lights of the street and the buildings that were standing near the place.

- "Not yet..."

- "Well, it's not too late ... by the way, the views are beautiful" - he murmured with a slight smile on his lips that immediately made Xiu smile too ... pleased with himself.

- "I'm glad you like the place ... it's my favorite restaurant" - commented the young man while sitting opposite - "and .. I'm glad you're here. I ... I didn't know if you would be coming with me.. not after what happened".

Night sighed.

"And to think that I had already  told him to forget it ... but nothing, he is too headstrong"

- "Xiu, forget it ... seriously, I don't mind that..."

However Night could not say anything else since the waiter, with two menus in his hand, was hurrying over to where they were sitting.

The dishes arrived quickly, making them forget - even for a few moments - everything they were talking about, letting them finally enjoy their dinner.

However, they were already waiting for their desserts when two people approached the table where they were sitting with quite different expressions on their faces.

One of them, with a wide smile of satisfaction, seemed to be able to start jumping with joy at any moment. The other person, however, had an indifferent expression even though his gaze ... his gaze was showing so much pain that it caused Night to jump from his seat and approach him, quite worried.

- "EARTH!"

Sam could barely stop smiling, especially after seeing how Earth's expression became more and more unassailable.

As he ... he had seen that same look before ... that same gesture.

"He doesn't show it but ... he's furious," he told himself with joy, "and very disappointed ..."

The truth was that, when he had seen Night leave the building where he was working with that man... he would never have imagined that things would turn out that way.

No doubt his idea of calling Earth and send him a photograph of both of them had been a success... specially when those two looked so great together, laughing and talking in a very intimate way, in the middle of the street.

That had been enough for Earth to finally agree to go to that restaurant where his boyfriend was having dinner with that person.

And now ... if he played his cards well ... he will be able to finally destroy his rival. The young man who had dared to woo his love ...

"As if I was going to let him keep Earth!" The young man thought as he watched how Night approached them with a worried expression on his face, "Earth is mine .. MINE!"

- "Night ..." - whispered, next to him, Earth - "Tell me that ... that this is not what I think ... that you're not cheating on me ... please".
