AT THE AIRPORT...

Mara was looking at the two men who, after their kiss, were talking animatedly.

Arthit, with a playful smile on his lips, was showing Kong a plane ticket for the same flight as the one he was going to take.

- "I'm going to accompany you... at least for your exam" - he has revealed, just a few minutes before, to Kongpob  who, with a happy smile on his face, had only been able to hug his fiance while muttering words of love and gratitude.

Good luck, Arthit ...

The young man, who had been smiling at something that Kongpob was telling him, freezed for a few seconds to, then, turn towards the place where the girl was standing.

Mara smiled and, winking at him, waved goodbye.

Arthit smiled to subsequently modulate a few words with his lips.

Thanks, Mara ... for everything

The young guide nodded, staying in her place as she watched how the two young men made their way to the boarding gate area.

- "They will have a happy life, I can assure you of that..." - said a voice at her side.

The young woman turned towards Knott who, with a smile, was also watching how his old friend had just disappeared behind the doors that led to the private area where the gates were located.

- "Of course they will!... With us as their guides it can not be otherwise" - the girl replied as she put her hand on the young man's arm and, turning around, began to walk towards the wall of the building, passing it through without any effort.

Knott laughed and nodded.

The truth was that... when he had seen his friend, practically agonizing, in the solitude of that street , he had asked for a couple of favors.

And, luckily, they had granted it.

A second chance ...

A second attempt to be happy ...

"Hopefully they won't wasted it..." he though at the same moment in which Mara hit him slightly with her own elbow.

- "OUCH!!!" - Knott moaned as he took his hand to the place that had just been hit.

- "How could you think that?!" - exclaimed the young woman as she growled slightly - "neither Arthit nor Kong are going to waste anything ... not with us by their side!".

Knott nodded quickly, while promising himself not to let his mind wander again... at least not when Mara was near.

- "Besides ..." - continued Mara with a sly smile - "I can not allow something bad to happen between them ... or I will not be born".

The girl smiled wryly when she noticed the look of surprise on Knott's face. After all, she had not revealed it to anyone yet ... not even him.

- "When I'll finish my next job ... in three years ... they have promised to send me to the mortal world"

- "Which of the two ...?" - Knott asked, wide-eyed because of the news.

Mara smiled shyly.

- "Arthit ..."

Knott nodded, noticing for the first time the girl's resemblance to his old friend.

- "I see ..." - he murmured without knowing very well what else to say.

- "Do not worry ... I'm not going to forget you, although I hope you won't mind having a girlfriend much younger than you ..."

Knott laughed at that as...., for them - the guides - there was no time.

For They were their guardians, their servants, their Guides ... fixing the wrongs caused by others and putting things in their place ... as it should be. And ... from time to time ... they were allowed to be part of the thread that linked the past with the present and the future.

Yes.

They were allowed to live and enjoy a life ... like everyone else ... like all mortals.

Many had already done so, living one or several lives to finally return to their real form when the time came...

Like himself... who was enjoying his ninth life.

Like Mara... who would live her first life in just three years.

Like Arthit and Kongpob who already had five lives together and who ... no doubt, would have many more.

"These guys ... I do not know why they did not want to remember this time," thought Knott, "in fact ... it seems so strange in someone like Arthit ... he had never wanted before"

- "Weeelll... You know what they say ..." - Mara whispered at her side - "reconciliation is the best part of a fight ... and, without a doubt, the conquest is one of the best stages in a relationship".

Knott sighed as Mara laughed.

After all, he did not need to know more because ... without a doubt, he already knew whose idea was.

"Kong ...", Knott told himself as he shook his head, "that boy and his ideas to spice up a relationship ..."

Even though...

When Arthit remembers ... I know of one person who is going to know firsthand how spicy that old friend of mine can be.

Knott chuckled as... he could not wait for that ...

Meanwhile, a young man smiled as his Sun slept deeply nestled on his shoulder.

My Arthit ...

My sun...

I will never stop fighting for you ... no matter what I have to do ...

- "I love you ..." - Kong whispered in the ear of the young man who, completely asleep, smiled slightly while imagining a life with his Moon.

A life in which they were going to be together, forever.

A life in which they were going to be together, forever
