- "We have to find Kristal!" - Peck exclaimed as he took a glass of the strongest liquor they had in the cabinet to his battered lips.
The old man, who adored his little girl above all things, was terrified imagining a thousand and one possibilities.
What if they had kidnapped her?
What if she was alone and without money?
They had to do something ... and they had to do it now!
However, his eldest son barely listened to his words. He was too busy attending to his beloved wife.
"Not again ...", he thought as he watched how his son's new wife dropped her own body on an armchair while fanning herself as if she were short of breath, "I really do not know what he saw in this woman... "
Unless he took into account her beauty...
Because that was all she had, a beauty that turned faces on the street and made men stop to watch her.
"Although I would love to see how it can helps us now ..."
- "Son..." - Peck began to say, hoping that for once, the man would attend to reasons.
However, Mr. Rojnapat did not turn to him, did not even speak to him. It was his wife, sitting on the seat, who gave him a look that made him snort.
- "We can not do anything ... at least not now" - said Mrs. Rojnapat while shaking her head in a cute way - "we do not even know where his daughter is".
.................................
His daughter...
Arthit smiled ironically.
Once again she reiterated that they were not her children.
"For her there is only our little brother Nat ... the perfect son, and so different from my sister and myself, much more similar to our mom than to the father that was looking more worried for his wife than for his own daughter".
Arthit sighed as he averted his gaze to the corner of the room where Mr. and Mrs. Suttiluk were sitting. Both parents were around their son, comforting Kong while assuring him that everything would be fine.
"So different from my family ..." Arthit told himself with a slight hint of envy.

The young man still remembered how things were when his mother was still alive.
The house was always full of laughter and games, joy and happiness. But, after her death, his father fell into absolute despair.
That was why, when one summer afternoon, they told Kristal and himself that they had decided to get married, they had both been happy with the news.
What they never thought was that the woman her father had chosen, was not going to love them. That she was not even going to put up with them, even if it was just because of appearances.
Even Cinderella had not lived such horrible years with her stepmother like those they had lived with theirs in the mansion...
And now.
Now, once again, that woman was turning her back on his sister ...
- "Besides ... the note clearly says that she has fled" - continued his stepmother with a dry gesture - "probably helped by one of his many friends"
Arthit frowned, but said nothing.
It was no use arguing with her, much less when his father was there. After all, his wife was perfect and never did anything wrong.
The young man smiled ironically as he looked back at Kongpob and his parents.
"We won't be able to do anything... we will have to report that the wedding is canceled," Arthit thought as his eyes fell on the groom. Immediately he frowned, "He does not seem very disappointed by the fleeing of the bride ..."
The young man bit his lip while, in his mind, the crazy idea that Kongpob could have something to do with the disappearance of his sister came alive.
"Impossible ...", thought only a few minutes later. Especially after noticing the look that the young man had on his face, "Although he did not want to get married, he looks worried about Kristal"
Arthit could not help thinking, once again, that his sister had been very foolish to let a young man like Kong pass by.
- "The wedding has to continue!" - exclaimed then Rose, as she got up from her seat and approached Peck.
The old woman, who until now had not said anything, observed everyone present with a clearly determined expression on her face.
- "But ... How are we going to continue with the wedding if we do not have a bride anymore?!" - Peck exclaimed with wide eyes.
Rose smiled wryly.
Arthit, looking surprised, watched as the old woman turned around and stood in front of his own parents.
- "I wonder ...Do you mind if we change the bride for a husband?"
Kongpob opened his mouth to stop his grandmother.
However, a few seconds later he realized that he did not know what to say ...
Marry another of the children of the Rojnapat?
But both of them were men!

Although...
In that case...
- "Would you allow me to choose between them?" - He asked with a thin voice and ignoring the expressions of horror of his parents.
- "Mother ... that's impossible!" - exclaimed Mr Suttiluk as he faced the woman - "we need descendants, we ...".
Rose held up her hand in a gesture that made everyone shut up. Even Mr and Mrs Rojnapat who, since the moment they heard the proposal, had not stopped arguing.
- "We can always adopt ... or look for some other way" - she countered with forcefulness - "now what matters is to fulfill the promise of my husband".
- "Never!" - exclaimed Mrs. Rojnapat as she took a few steps toward the center of the room - "not my son ... if we have to marry one of them, let's choose Arthit!"
