The plane was moving quickly over the white clouds.

Most of the passengers were enjoying the trip, especially for the friendly treatment of the hostesses and - why not say it - for the fact that there was not any kind of setback.

It was really a very pleasant flight.

However, two people showed no signs of happiness. On the contrary, while showing  serious expressions on their faces, they did not stop looking at the hands of their wrist watches.

"It seems that they are going backwards ...", Mrs. Sangpotirat told herself while frowning.

Beside her, her husband was drinking from a glass while trying, once again, to get in touch with Singto.

- "No answer" - he muttered with a growl - "Why isn't he answering his phone?"

- "He must be at the hospital, honey" - his wife said while putting a hand on the gadget, preventing her husband from continuing to pound the worn keys - "you know that in the area where Krist is, there is no coverage" .

Mr. Sangpotirat sighed.

"At least he is not alone ...", he thought as he cursed once again that business trip that had brought him - and his wife - to the other side of the world.

- "Singto is with him ... and if something bad had happened he would have called us already..." - the woman muttered to reassure her husband.

The man nodded.

- "Yes ... Krist is lucky to have someone like Singto by his side"

MEANWHILE, AT THE HOSPITAL ....

The doctors left the room with worried expressions on their faces.

Singto, who had been waiting in one of the chairs for several hours already, could only get up with a terrified expression while rubbing his hands against his clothes .

"No, please," he begged to whoever was listening after observing the doctors' glances.

- "The young man is entering a coma" - finally said to him one of the doctors - "his parents have not arrived yet?"

Singto looked down at the marble floor of the hospital.

- "His parents will arrive in a couple of hours" - he told them with a thin voice. However, a few minutes later, he looked up at the doctors - "could he recover?"

The doctors looked at each other.

Singto, who had noticed the looks the doctors were exchanging, swallowed hard.

"Please..."

A few seconds later, the same doctor who had spoken earlier, turned to the young man while letting out a slight sigh.

- "There are few possibilities ... and if he does not leave the state he is in the next 24 hours ... I'm afraid there will not be any left"

Singto, feeling his legs failing again, took a few steps towards the nearest chair and dropped into it.

- "Please, as soon as his parents arrive, let us know ... we need to talk to them".

After which, they left leaving the boy completely shattered.

- "It can not be ..." - Singto muttered as he felt how his world was crumbling around him - "No ... it can not be ..."

The young man looked at the white wall in front of him, his eyes fixed on the old and partially torn posters, without actually seeing them.

His mind was blank, unable to react to what the doctors had just told him.

- "Krist ..." - he murmured as two thick tears - the first of many - began to slide down his cheeks.

HALF AN HOUR LATER ...

Singto entered the room while trying to dry his tears with a handkerchief that one of the nurses had kindly given him.

As the last thing he wanted was for Krist to see him in that state.

"If he wakes up  I want him to see me with a big smile on my face", he thought to immediately shake his head, "no ... not if he wakes up ... when he wakes up he should see me with a big smile on my face".

The young man approached the bed and, once again, sat in the empty seat next to Krist as he took the young man's hand in his.

- "Krist ... please, you can not leave me ... Fight ... wake up ... I need you with me" - Singto murmured with a thin voice as he put the boy's hand to one of his cheeks.

Tears began to fall on Krist's hand.

At that moment, and without Singto noticing, one of the fingers of the young man's free hand moved imperceptibly to, almost instantly, become completely inert again.
