2 YEARS LATER...

Kongpob went through the door of the airport with a wide smile on his lips. Especially when, finally, his studies in China had ended.

"Finally ...", he though, "I'm finally back"

- "Welcome back!" - Em exclaimed as he approached him with quick steps and hugged Kong tightly - "We have missed you so much!"

The young newcomer smiled, still in the arms of his old friend.

His brother's.

- "I'm glad to be back" - said Kong as he separated from Em and turned, with a smile, to say hello to May and the boy who, in her arms, was watching him with wide eyes and an expression of perplexity in his sweet face - "and ... I guess this little angel is Max"

Em smiled, proud, while May, with a broad smile on her cute face, approached Kong so he could see their first child better.

- "I'm glad to see you, Kongpob" - said the girl - "and yes ... this is my treasure ... Max, greet your uncle Kong".

BLUB

Kong laughed, watching the boy make a slight pout with his pink lips.

- "He is beautiful"

May and Em smiled.

- "Well ... are we going to your apartment? Or do you prefer to go to your parents' house first?"

Kongpob shook his head.

- "No, Em ... first of all I should go and see someone else".

The cemetery was completely empty.

However, for the young man that was in front of a tombstone with a bouquet of flowers in one hand and a huge glass of pink milk in another, the solitude of the place did not matter.

What's more, he appreciated it.

After all, he had so many things to say ...

- "It's not fair, my Sun" - he said while leaving the two gifts in front of the small stone - "you did not even let me say goodbye to you ... nobody told me what had happened until I was in China, and only because I met a classmate who told me he had gone to your funeral ... "

Kong bowed and, softly, ran a hand through the letters engraved on the stone.

- "I miss you so much ... I've tried to overcome it but I can not" - he commented while his voice began to break because of the sobs that started to come out of his lips - "I've even gone out with other people ... but it's useless, every time they kiss me ... every time they try to take the relationship to the next level ... I feel like I'm betraying you ... that I'm betraying myself ... Nobody can take your place so ... I have decided to stop searching... to stop trying ... I ... wait for me, wherever you are ... I promise we will meet again ".

After which the young man dropped on the grass and, while cleaning some dried leaves that had fallen from the surrounding trees, burst into tears.

-------------------

- "No more!" - Arthit exclaimed as he turned towards Mara with a pleading expression on his face.

- "But ... Wasn't you the one that wanted to see Kong's future? The one that wanted to be sure that he was finally happy?" - The young guide asked while watching the scene from a branch of the tree they were using as a chair.

Arthit growled low.

- "And you think he is?!" - He exclaimed with an expression that clearly showed the stress he was feeling at that moment - "he's talking about meeting me!"

- "Well ... it's his life" - the girl muttered while shrugging her shoulders - "you can wish the best for him but ... in the end it is him the one who has to make his own decisions about his own life".

Arthit shook his head while rubbing his hands in fear and nervousness.

Not for him.

But for his Kongpob.

After all, it had been his fault, and only his , the mess in which he was now...for not being aware of the cars that were running along the road that rainy night.

But ... he had been so hurt ...

He had just broken things off with Kongpob by phone and... his mind, still confused, did not know whether it would be better to run towards Knott's apartment, a few steps away, or if, on the contrary, it was a much better idea to retrace his steps and look for Kong. Apologize to him and ... and tell him that he would wait for him...as long as it took.

Unfortunately, he did not have time to decide since ... having stopped in the middle of the road, he barely heard the horn of the truck that had just turned in the corner and was heading straight for him.

A few seconds later ... everything had turned black.

"And then I met her ..." Arthit thought as he looked back towards the young woman that was still sitting on the branch, humming a little song as she watched how Kongpob was caressing the gravestone while laying dozens of kisses on the cold gray stone.

- "If only I could do something ... change things ... I do not want him to ... no!" -  he finally exclaimed as he closed his eyes tightly, trying not to see the young man who was still talking to his grave about how happy he would be when they finally saw each other again.

- "ohhhh ..." - said the girl as she dropped to the ground to, later, make a sign to Arthit to do the same - "well... you know ... it wouldn't be such a bad idea..."

The young man looked at her with a big question mark in his beautiful face.

- "What do you mean?"

Mara smiled playfully as she took a couple of jumps until she was facing Arthit.

The man, who had been, without realizing it, observing again the destroyed figure of Kong, turned towards her as soon as he noticed that the young woman had placed herself right between Kongpob and him.... All this while frowning slightly.

- "Do not look at me like this ... much less when I'm about to do you a favor"

Arthit, who had taken a couple of steps to the side so he could look at his Moon again, turned to the girl with curiosity painted on his face.

- "What are you talking about now?" - Asked the young man as he tried unsuccessfully not to go to the young man who, with trembling legs, was trying at that moment to get up from the ground.

- "Weeelllll... let's say I'm going to give you two options" - Mara mused as she placed two fingers before Arthit's eyes - "you can go on, as we had planned oooorrrr ....."

Arthit snorted and, slapping the girl's fingers away, looked at her with his hands on his hips.

- "Or?"

- "Or you can go back to the day of your death ... and change everything".
