I look up from the ground

Logan looked at the man in front of him. The man who loved him, cared for him, slept with him.

He couldn't figure out why Patton was crying. Was it him? Did he do something wrong?

What happened?

And I reach for your hand but it's cold
You pull away again

And then you say to me you made a dumb mistake

"I-I did something that is unforgivable. I don't expect you to stay with me after I tell you. but please, please, remember that I love you and I will always love you."

Now Logan was worried, what was going? Patton couldn't have possibly done something unforgivable. Right?

You start to tremble and your voice begins to break
You say the cigarettes on the counter weren't your friend's
They were my mate's
And I feel the color draining from my face

"Um, the night you were out with V-Virgil, Roman decided to come over. Things e-escalated and..."

The taller male looked at the shorter one, tears beginning to gather in his eyes, matching the ones of the other.

"You didn't.."

"I-I'm so, so sorry Logan.."

Scream. That's all Logan could do. Yell at the one he loves, at the one who loved him.

A fight broke out, arguing back and forth. Hand gestures being thrown and pacing starting to get shorter.

"I'm going to Virgil's. Don't call, text, nothing. Don't follow me either."

And with that, Patton was alone.

And my friend said
"I know you love her, but it's over, mate
It doesn't matter, put the phone away

Logan looked at his phone, Pattons messaging on screen. Nothing.

It was to be expected. He did tell him not to text.

Virgil came into the room with a cup of water and a cold rag.

"Turn the phone off, Lo."

Logan listened and took the water and rag with a polite "thank you".
