~Lilith's POV~
On Saturday, I woke up at nine AM, knowing that I'd have to be ready by eleven AM since that was when was supposed to arrive for our tutoring session. That had sort of become our scheduled time for Saturday's tutoring.
I skittered into the bathroom, the cold hitting my skin the second I escaped the warmth of my bed. Goosebumps formed on my skin and I turned on the water in my shower, letting it slowly heat up while I grabbed a razor and a vanilla scented body wash, since I'd used up my other one already. When I was sure that the water was hot enough, I stripped naked and hopped in the shower, the hot water hitting my skin and warming my body.
First, I shaved my body, deciding to take my time since I'd gotten up at the right time today. When I finished shaving, I used my body wash and scrubbed it all over, the sweet scent something I loved. I then rinsed it off and shampooed my hair, soap suds all over my hands as I washed my hair. After I rinsed that out, I lathered my hair with conditioner, letting it sit there a few minutes before I then rinsed that out as well.
When I finished my shower, I turned off the water and got out, wrapping myself in a towel. Since I figured maybe Luke and I could hang out together after we finished our tutoring session, I decided to do my makeup and get dressed like I normally would. I went into my room and over to my dresser, pulling on a pair of undergarments before I made my way to my vanity to start my makeup.
As I began to do my makeup, I drifted off into my thoughts. I couldn't help but to return to the situation that'd gone down with Matthew, Bryan, Vincenzo and Elias. Luckily, after Luke's persuasion, I'd conjured up the courage to tell the principal of the school about what happened, which resulted in the four of them being completely kicked out of the school after they checked the cameras in the gym. To me, that was a good thing.
I was far more than grateful that Luke had been there in the school, even if he hadn't been in the gym as it was happening. At least he had been there to take me home and make sure that I was okay. He had been willing to listen and support me, like a good friend, and I was beyond grateful for that.
By the time I finished my makeup, it was a little after ten AM, so I decided I needed to get dressed. I wandered into my closet and searched through my clothes, trying to find and outfit. Eventually, I picked a pink bandeau top with red cherries on it and a red vinyl skirt that fit me snugly, pulling them both on. Once I was dressed, I left my closet and brushed my hair out, humming a tune to myself.
Once I heard a knock on the doorbell, I headed downstairs and started towards the door. However, I halted once I heard the sound of voices coming closer towards me from the direction of the kitchen. Specifically, the voices of my mom and dad. I hadn't even known that they were home!
I quickly skittered over to the front door and cracked it open, not wanting mom and dad to see Luke. Dad wouldn't have judged him, but I had a strong feeling that mom would have. I wasn't ready for her to meet him yet, not until I actually had a chance to prepare everyone.
When I opened the door just a crack, Luke peered at me in confusion when he saw the panic on my face. "My parents are home! We can't do tutoring here or they'll turn it into a chance to grill you with questions. Just...wait here!" I blurted, not even waiting for him to answer before I shut the door and locked it yet again, leaving him outside. I spun around and saw mom standing there, raising a brow at me. "Well, who was it?" She asked expectantly. I looked up at her and shrugged casually. "Just some door-to-door salesmen." I answered, this being the first time I'd lied to her.
She nodded and I skirted past her, going upstairs to find a pair of shoes. I quickly found a pair of pink booties, pulling them on before I left my room with my backpack and ran downstairs towards the front door.
