אחרי שלוש שנים בזוגיות מתעללת, לאריסה קינגסלי נאלצת לברוח מהעיר שבה גדלה ולהתחיל את חייה בעיר חדשה. כדי להשאיר את הצלקות והעבר הכואב מאחור, לאריסה חיה את חייה בצורה הכי שקטה שאפשר. ונשבעת לעצמה שלעולם לא תיתן לאף אחד להתקרב אליה שוב.

טוב אז בגלל שעשיתי את זה לסיפור השני שלי, אני אעשה את זה כבר פה. לטענת חברה שלי סופר קשה לקרוא בלי לדמיין איך הם נראים, למרות שתמיד חשבתי שזה קרינג'י ומוזר זה די מסורת בוואטפד, אז נו טוב, אני אעשה את זה גם. לקח לי שנים למצוא את התמונות האלו, אבל ככה פחות או יותר אני מדמיינת את הדמויות בסיפור, בכל מקרה תרגישו חופשי לדמיין אותם איך שבא לכם ^^
