Lost Echo

Fives came frantically running into the mess hall. His hair was dishevelled and his eyes were racing around the room frantically. He quickly ran to his brothers and sister who were calmly eating ,when he grabbed Nara by the shoulders.

"I've lost Echo" he wailed shaking Nara by the shoulders.

The poor girl looked rattled as she was shook like a piñata.

"What do you mean you lost Echo" Rex perplexed.

"I mean that he may of sorta kinda got lost in the ships vents" Fives twiddled with his thumbs.

"HE WHAT" Rex eyes widened .

"Got lost in the vents and it's kinda sorta my fault........please don't kill me" Fives replied sheepishly .

" YOU DID WHAT TO ECHO"! Rex pinched his brows in frustration.

"Relax I know it sounds bad but we were bored and I decided to dare Echo to climb into the the ships vents and go exploring" Fives shrugged.

"Let me get this straight you got golden boy ,never broken a rule in his life Echo .to climb into the ships vents which is against the rules may I add. And he agreed to do it"? Kix raised a brow.

"Yes, now would you let me get back to the part where Echo is somewhere in the ships vents and we may never see him again"! Fives snapped.

"Yah no go ahead...proceed" Kix put his hands up in defence.

"And you didn't stop to think that this is probably the worst ship you could have lost Echo on considering it's a republic cruiser" Nara stated

"No I did not" Fives sighed.

"So you've lost our brother in the ships vents and you have absolutely no idea where he went, do you"? Nara questioned.

"That's correct" Fives groaned.

"Oh you've messed up bad ,like this is impressive even for you" Nara mused .

"Oh shut up knee high" Five growled.

"Never mind her where did he last enter the vents" Rex asked staying on topic.

"The south end of the ship, near the barracks" Fives said.

"Well I guess we better start there , I call some back up to help" Rex added as the began to make there way to the exit.

(Echo POV)

It had been two hours since I have seen any source of light and the only thing I've heard for the last three hours it seems is the buzz of the ship. I began to crawl on my knees around a corner . My back and knees where both aching,I had never wanted to stand so much in my life .I swear the next time I see Fives I'm going to kill him for this. Serves me right though, I should never had token this dare I know better than to trust Fives on these matters. Just as I made my way down the vent I felt something slither around my hand making me jump and scream out in surprise. However due my stupidity I ended up with both a lump on my forehead from rocket launching myself into the metal ceiling, and a bruised ego after I found out it was just a piece of string that had wrapped itself around my wrist.
