Sorry this chapter is late I've been busy with school. Anyways hope you guys enjoy the last part of this story😁.

Harvey remembered the sound of the men screaming out in triumph and relief . They had won against all odds; they weren't supposed to make it out. Yet somehow they survived with minor casualties. Once Master windu had signalled the coast was clear Harvey and Obi wan began loading the troopers onto the transports. From what he had heard the bad batch and Anakin's men had been successful and their had been no casualties, as far as he knew.

It wasn't until his feet hit the familiar ground of the republic base did he see the task force. He recognized the bad batch with their obvious quirks, and Rex and Fives with their distinctive differences, the only one he wasn't familiar with was Echo. From what he had seen and heard of the trooper, he had been through hell and back. Echo was incredibly smart, and selfless what any good solider was, but Harvey knew echo was so much more than a solider, he was a good man and Harvey respected that. Echo stood out to him the most due to the fact that Harvey had seen him when Nara had fainted. There must have been a tight bond between them, for her to have felt that much pain. And it made him curious.

"I wanted to congratulate you all on the successful mission Anakin, without you guys I don't think we would have survived that hell hole"

"Thank you Harvey, but my men deserve all the credit"

Suddenly it hit him.

"Where's Nara"?

"Harvey, she..." Anakin began.

Suddenly Kix came rushing past the group a defibrillator in his hand. More troopers followed him with medical kits and focused expressions on their faces. They all stormed the ship the group had came out of. And suddenly there she was, they had placed her on top of a stretcher and carried her out of the ship. Kix had begun compressions another trooper hooked her up to wires and Ive's. Her arms were covered in lighting scars with the hair singed on her forearms. Her face was pale with her eyes rolling into the back of her head.

The look upon her brothers faces concerned him deeply.

" what happened"?

"Harvey.."

"What happened"!

" she pushed me out of the way, sir"

Echo spoke up.

"The separatist had sent an electric shock to stop me from sending them wrong algorithms . It was meant to take me out. she pushed me out of the way, before I knew it she had taken the full blow. I'm sorry, sir"

Harvey sighed and placed a firm hand on echos shoulder and stared him in the eyes.

" those separatist filth will pay for this, Echo. You have my word".

******

Her head throbbed from the sudden jolt and her body felt as if it had be torn apart. The stale white room spun like a carousel as her lids opened to the bright white light. Whatever had been in her stomach came out in a puddle onto the floor.

"Aww not my boots again"!

Nara shakily looked up towards the small band of clones and even the Jedi standing her room.

"Sorry" she gaged.

Kix quickly grabbed a cloth and helped wipe off the puke. He couldn't help but laugh at fives who sulked about having to wash his boots later. Echo walked towards the side of the bed and placed his hand down on her hands.

"Thank god your awake, why on earth did you do that"

His eyes were watery.

"Because I couldn't watch you die again"

The room went silent.

"I think you too have much to discuss" Harvey directed everyone out of the room, but not before giving one last look at the girl he was falling hard for.

"What do you mean you couldn't watch me die again"

Nara let out a long sigh as she tried to get her thoughts together.

"When I went on a separate mission to protect senator admidla , I felt your death. I could feel your pain, every incision of metal, every scream of pain. I could see it, I could even feel it."

A tear silently fell down her cheek. " I'm so sorry I failed you, I should have been there! I failed you"

"You never failed me" he sighed wiping the tear away "you brought me back didn't you"

She looked him in the eyes. He was the same brother she loved, the one she would protect at all costs. Sure he had his scars but he was her Echo.

"I'm not leaving again I promise"

Nara wrapped her arms around the surprised trooper. She rarely ever showed vulnerability and right all the trauma she had held in was slowly releasing its grip. Her Echo was finally home.
