"DISCOOOOOOOOOOO..." James yelled at the top of his lungs making jump as he scared the shit out of me. I put the plate back on the counter of the kitchen and went to check out what was happening. As I got to the hallway, I saw Disco running with a sock in his mouth and then I heard James's heavy steps on the stairs coming running too. "Fucking dog!" He cursed clenching his jaw and totally ignoring me. He went to the living room where Disco went running and I followed them, amused.

Disco stopped, looking at James defiantly and wagging his tail. The puppy was playing. Disco arrived in our house the week before and since then I think James regretted a thousand times he'd get the dog. "I'm not playing!" James told him with authority. "Give me the sock now!" He shouted. The dog simply ran around the table not caring about what he was saying, I bet he didn't even know what he was telling him. James ran after him and I giggled. I crossed my arms around my chest and leaned against the threshold enjoying the show. Disco passed by me.

"You could have stopped him." James said and I followed them to the kitchen. The show remained. I was almost in tears laughing. "Do you mind helping me?" James told me and I crouched in front of Disco.

"Come here boy." I called sweetly and Disco came running. I didn't resist to hold him in my arms. "Give me that." I said and I took the sock off his mouth and stretched it to James, who simply ripped it off my hands. I tapped the dog's head and kissed him. I was in love with the puppy, he was just too cute.

"There...another hole." James said showing me the sock. "It's the fourth pair this week. Do I even make enough money to buy socks now!" He was visibly upset. I kept on cuddling the dog in my arms while he licked my face and James looked at me incredulous. "You're not even paying attention!" He exclaimed.

"Oh James...it's just a sock!" I said. "He's so cute." Then I looked back at Disco. "Who's my cute little thing uh?"

"I AM!" James said. "Hey...I am your cute thing." He played the offended and made me laugh loud. Disco barked at him and James looked at him not containing his smile. "You got some nerve." He talked to him.

"He's just a puppy." I said.

"That needs to be taught and you spoil him completely." James added. "Give him to me." I put Disco in his arms and the puppy licked his face instantly. "You need to calm down buddy." He told him. "Ooh..." James blurted and made and weird face. He gave the dog back to me and I saw his shirt with a stain. "He peed on me!" I began to laugh, I tried not to but that was just to funny to resist. "I kill that fucking dog!" He said all grumpy, leaving the kitchen.

"You don't wanna mess up with him Disco, he might comply with his promise." I laughed. I could still hear James cursing all alone upstairs, but I came back to what I was doing before, and that was breakfast. Disco ran all over my feet while I set the table and James came back changed some minutes later. Disco ran to him, for some cuddles but James wasn't in the mood for such thing.

"No way. You're grounded!" He told him pointing his finger at the dog. James sat by the table and Disco ran to sit by his side, then I joined him, and his grumpy face was just making me amused.

"Come on...a smile." I teased him.

"Since the dog came to this house, our mornings are like hell." He said.

"He's sweet." I said.

"Andrea, you were the one that didn't want a dog and now you're all over him." He told me grabbing a toast.

"Like I said, he's just too sweet."

"He's the devil!" He said looking down at him. Disco wagged his tail and he smiled. "He's cute the fucker." James told me.
