"James, are they ready? I asked running around the hotel room franticly looking for my diamond earrings.

The dress getting on my way as I could barely run with it and the high heels were very inappropriate to do so.

"Yeah... they are waiting for us downstairs." I heard his voice quite near and looked back to find him, just a few steps behind me.

Years have passed by him, but he was still amazing to my eyes. He had a few wrinkles and gray hair, but he still looked amazing. At 48, his smile was the same and I still shuddered when I witnessed it. James was dressed in a black tuxedo, looking so elegant.

"I am nervous." He told me with his cute smile and then giggled, a nervous laughter. I recognized it well.

"I know..." I said approaching him and running the tip of my fingers over his face. "I am nervous too."

"You look beautiful." He kissed my lips.

"Here!" I almost yelled as I found the earring that was missing. "I am ready too." I finally said. "We better go. We're already late." James took a deep breath and gave me his arm.

Our children, not so children anymore were waiting at the lobby.

"Sarah is in the car already; you guys took long!" Tyler told us. "And she's damn nervous. " He almost yelled. "Dad, I hope you can cope with that all the way to the church." He said.

James tapped on our eighteen-year-old's back and smiled at him.

"I think I can manage it." James told him. Tyler made a face and grabbed his girlfriend's hand.

"Good luck." He said going outside.

"Ready, Vicky?" I asked.

"Yes, mom." She told me. My 15-year-old was getting so tall.

"Then, let's go." James clapped. "You guys are going with mom on the limo behind ours." James explained. "Wait... where's Grace?" He asked looking around almost in panic.

"She's with Sarah in the limo." Vicky said. "Oh... she's not lost!" Vicky mocked him.

"Are you sure?" I asked looking around too.

"Your sister is five years old.! James spoke to our two children. "Jesus, can't we leave her with you guys for a couple of minutes and be responsible?" James argued.

"Dad, relax. She's with Sarah. I am sure of that." Victoria spoke again.

"Let's all calm down." I said. "Let's all calm down for Christ's Sake."

My family was a mess on regular days, imagine on a day like that. The limos were parked outside. Sarah was on the white one and I went there first to greet her. As I opened the door and my eyes hit my oldest daughter, 28 at the time, and they watered.

"You look amazing sweetheart." I told her.

"Thanks mom. Where's dad?" She asked.

"Mommy, are you coming in here too?" Grace asked appearing from behind Sarah's dress.

"Mommy is going on another car but right behind you." I told her.

"I want to go with you then." The little one said.

"You can't sweetie, you have to come with me and Sarah, ok?" James peeked and as his eyes hit Sarah, they watered, and he barely could keep it together.

"Dad, don't make me cry too. I can't ruin my makeup." Sarah said trying to light up the mood.

James sat by her side and they held each other close.
