I woke up to find James sat by the bed looking at me. I blinked a few times before keeping my eyes opened and then smiled at him. His hand caressed my face and he offered me his sweet smile and tender good morning kiss.

"You slept here?" I asked when I could finally talk.

"On that couch over there." He pointed at a couch near a window.

"You should have gone home babe. I was fine and the baby was fine too, you should have slept in our bed and pick up our girl, I bet she is dying to see the baby."

"She is." He said. "Belle is coming here, and she brings her. I promise I go home today, ok? But I wanted to stay here with you the first night, and him." He said looking at the crib near my bed.

"I still feel tired." I complained, stretching a bit in bed. "Can you pull my bed a bit up, please?" I asked him. James got up and helped me, I asked him to stop when I could fully see my son in the crib. He looked even more beautiful since all the labor marks were disappearing and I smiled looking at him.

"He's gorgeous isn't he?" James asked me. I turned my head to look at him and he was with such a sweet smile on his lips.

"Yes, he is. Can you bring him to me?"

"Sure." He said. I watched him picking Tyler up and being so careful but not clumsy.

"They taught me how to do it." He grinned while bringing the baby to me, I sensed a bit of pride too, showing me he was capable of holding our new born son perfectly. James put him in my arms and Tyler opened his eyes but didn't complain, he just stared. "Hi sweetie." I baby talked. James sat by my side and put his arm around my shoulder and was watching Tyler too. "Welcome to this world. I am your mommy, and I love you so much." I raised the baby until my lips and kissed his face. "Humm...you smell so good." I realized then how much I missed having a baby. I remembered when Sarah was that small and how delighted I was with her, same now with the baby boy.

"I think he has your lips and nose; he looks a lot like you." James told me.

"He's too little to tell." I said.

"I know, but I watched him for quite some time and really, he looks a lot like you Andrea, except for the eyes." I looked down at Tyler and tried to see all that James was telling me, but I could only see a tiny human being with whom I was in love and nothing else. Tyler frowned a bit and then began to cry.

"I think he needs to be changed." I said. "I barely can move James; you have to do it."

"What? I can't do that! I don't know how to change a diaper!"

"I'll teach you babe, but you need to do it." I said. "In the blue bag there's diapers, bring them on and also this blue and green cream. Also the tissues." James searched on the bag while I tried to calm the baby down, rocking him in my arms.

"Here." He said putting everything on the bed. I pulled a bit to the side to give him some space and then he took Tyler off my arms, laying him on the bed.

"Now you need to take his diaper off. Be careful not to soil his pants, you better take them off." James followed my instructions carefully, under my supervision.

"Please God, be it just pee." He pleaded before taking the diaper off and that made me giggle. He was lucky though.

"You're so lucky." I said and he grinned looking at me.

"Now what?" He said looking at me.

"You clean him really well with one of those tissues over there and then you put cream on his butt and balls." I watched him attentively while he looked he was doing the hardest task of his life. "Now, open a clean diaper and put it under his butt, grab on his feet and pull him up." I said.
