Today is a brand new day. The birds are singing, the sun is gleaming. Everyone's happy and my secret is safe. Nothing can ruin today.

"Hey weasel head" Emerson said

Except that.

"What do you want loser?" I groaned. Talking to him alone drives me crazy.

"Can't I say hi to my brother in law?" He smiled mischievously

"Ok stop saying that because Julian will never date you so stop wasting your time"

"Oh don't you worry, by the time she sees what an amazing guy I am, she won't be able to resist me" She pushed his hair back.

He's actually good looking but I'll never say that to his face. Why are all my enemies so hot and dreamy? Wait, did I just say that? Darcey has finally rubbed off on me.

"Tch, you amazing? When pigs fly" I said

"Great because I saw a pig fly yesterday"

"What pig? Oh you haha" I looked at Emerson and he wasn't even amused. Dang it, why would I say that? It made no sense.

"Do you realize what you just said?"

"Yes and I immediately regret it" I scratched my head

"Ok gather around kids. Hope you have all eaten breakfast because you're about to release all of it" Glenna yelled

"Ew, I don't want that" Whitney said

"Kidding Blondie, you're going to have fun today because we're going hunting and fishing" She said

"Actually it's a dirty blonde as in white not your regular cheap blonde wig" Whitney rubbed her hair

"Her hair doesn't look all that elegant wrapped up in my fist when I'm about to rock her world" Laverne snickered

The guys burst into laughter.

"Can he like not talk about his sex with Whitney here?" I said to myself

"Why? Are you not satisfying Maddie enough or do you need some tips?" He asked

Did I say that out loud? Oops.

"In your dreams Laverne, if I take Whitney to bed, she'll be crawling back to me every night" I said

Andrew clenched his fist.

"Are you saying you're better than me in bed?" He yelled

"Whoa, whoa, whoa dudes, as much as I love it when boys fight over me, we could get in trouble. Look, Mr George's watching us like a hawk" Whitney said

We looked at him and he was giving us suspicious glares. He mouthed "I'm watching you like a hawk". That's oddly accurate.

"There is a safe path we can use to get to the river. I need to all to line up in a single file. Boys to the left and girls to the left" She said

"Ma'am, don't you mean right?" I said

"That is what I said, don't teach me how to do my job pretty girl" She said

"Actually I'm a guy so" I said

"Ha, I thought I was the only who noticed that this face suits Julian more than it suits you" Andrew burst into laughter.

"You think you know everything huh?" She was furious.

Seriously, what did I do wrong?
