I am so tired right now, I never knew that I could run up to twenty five laps. I was running as fast as I could when I twisted my ankle and fell on the pitch.
"Are you okay Julian?" Rico ran over to my side.
I turned over and looked at my knee, it was badly bruised and it was bleeding.
"I don't need you lying around like a child. Go take care of yourself at the nurse's office" Coach Kirk said
I tried to stand up but I couldn't. The sudden movement caused a shock in my leg thereby making me wince in pain.
As I was struggling to get up on my feet, someone knelt down beside me. I looked up and it was Andrew.
He planted his hands under my head and under my legs. He lifted me up with so much ease and took me to the nurse's office.
He knocked on the door simultaneously but there was no answer. He kicked the door open and took me in. I looked around and there was no sign of a nurse
"There appears to be dirt in your wound, I'm going to have to wash your wound. Go wait for me in the bathroom over there" I managed to make my way to the bathroom with the support of objects.
He picked up some ointment, cotton wool and bandages. He entered into the bathroom and slammed the door.
"How are we going to....." He didn't let me finish talking, he grabbed me by my waist and pulled me up and placed me on the counter. He took a small towel and let the water run over it. He poured some ointment on it.
"This might hurt a bit" He used the cloth to rub over the surface of the scab.
"Aw, aw, Ouchh, Andrew" I grabbed his shoulder and moaned in pain.
"Can you pipe down before someone thinks that I'm fucking you?" He said
"It's too painful"
"Here" He brought out a handkerchief from his pocket
"What should I do with this?" I asked
"Bite it, it'll prevent you from making so much noise" He shoved it in my mouth.
After he finished torturing my leg, he rubbed penicillin on it and put a cotton wool before wrapping it.
"Luckily the wound is not that deep so you should be fine" He said
I hugged him. I don't know if it's because I'm still in pain from what happened or it's because of the wound but I was actually crying.
I thought he'd push me off or something but he hugged me back and right there, at that moment, I wanted to stay with him forever.
We pulled apart and he stared into my eyes. He gripped my thighs and our lips were only inches apart from being one.
*Knock*
Someone just had to knock on the door.
"What were you guys doing in there?" The school nurse popped her head through the space between the frame and the door.
"We uh.." I said
"You were having sex weren't you? I'm taking you to Principal Mason's office"
"No,no, We weren't having sex. She hurt herself and I brought her here but you weren't here so I treated her myself" Andrew said
"Oh, I hope she's not badly injured"
"No it's all good. Come on, I'll take you home" He helped me get down from the counter. He placed my arm on his shoulder and used one hand to hold my waist and the other to support it.
My heart was doing the renegade right now. I don't know why but there was just something about the way he was taking care of me that made my heart to be so happy.
"Our assignment is due in a few days, you got any ideas?" He pulled up on my porch.
"Yeah, I think I got one. I'll send you some videos for editing. Thank you for today" I opened the door and managed to get out of the car. It's not like I can't walk but I just like the attention that Andrew was giving me.
I turned around and he was staring at me. My cheeks flushed up and I waved at him. I opened my front door and went in.
"Hey" I said to Jace who was sprawled on the couch.
"Yikes, what happened to you?" He pointed to my leg.
"Let's just say that it was a self injury. I was running and hurt myself in the process"
"I'll get you an ice bag to put on it"
"No, I'm fine"
"I'm the reason why you're in this mess so it's my responsibility to look after you" He went to the kitchen and came out almost immediately with a bag of ice.
He put it on my leg and it felt so good.
"I'm sorry that I'm making you go through a lot. How can I ever make it up to you?" He said
"Hm, Can you come to school two days before the exams commence? I want you to see something" I asked
"I'll check with Principal Mason if that's alright with him" He hugged me sideways.
He helped me go up to my room and get ready for bed.
