"What exactly happened between the both of you?"
I know that I already know what happened because Andrew told me but there's always two sides to a story and I figured this won't be different.
He took a deep breath.
"As you already know, we used to be best of buds and did everything together but one day we just fell apart"
"What happened?"
"I don't know, he just stopped talking to me and won't even tell me why"
"Wait, you mean that you have no idea why he's mad at you?"
"Exactly" He said
"Are you guys done? I'm tired of standing in the hallway" Maddie held the door frame and popped her head into the classroom.
"Yup" She came in and sat on his lap
"Get a room!" I yelled before leaving the room.
Ok, so Andrew is mad at him but Jace doesn't know. Wait, that means that Jace didn't intentionally steal Andrew's spot. He had no idea that he stole the spot from Andrew.
I gotta fix this but how?
I have to find a way to make the both of see that they care about each other.
There's only one person who can help me with this plan.
School's basically over but we want to give the decoration club have a great time planning the Prom that I don't have a date to.
I knocked on the door and waited for an answer. The door swung open and her pretty face emerged.
"Hi" I said
"Julian? Come in" Andrew's mom smiled at me.
My cheek flushed up when I sat down on the couch because my mind wandered off to what we did on this same couch.
"Why aren't you in school?" She asked
"Well, as you know, finals are over and we don't have anything on our hands again so I'm free" I said
"Andrew's not here" She gave me a can of Dr pepper and a pack of M&Ms
"I know, I came to see you"
"See me? I'm flattered. My son's girlfriend thinks I'm cool" She flipped her hair
I like her.
"I'm sorry, I heard about your ex husband" I said
"Oh, it's ok. My ex husband wasn't financially stablee. We were always in debt but I loved him nevertheless. I didn't care about anything because he loved me and our kids a lot. Andrew really loved him and despite having a rich step father, he still wants to get a scholarship but it's impossible now" She wiped her tears
"No, nothing is impossible if you try. Even the word says I'm possible" I cracked one of my mom jokes.
She burst into laughter.
"I know dear but there's nothing you can do, only QB's get football scholarship"
"No, they get the scholarship because they are considered as the important ones and the best player on the team. All we have to do is to try to get them to see how good he is" I said
"Wow, my son really got a keeper" She hugged me "Don't ever leave our side"
"After that, we can work on a way to get my brother and Andrew to stop hating each other" I said
"Alright"
I got the contact of the scholarship coach and decided to place a call to him.
"Hello?" I said when there was no response on the other side.
"Who's this?" A thick voice said
"You don't know me and my identity doesn't matter but I'm calling on behalf of a star player. Please don't hang up and hear me out. He's hands down the best player I know and I know a lot of them. I know what you're going to say and he's not a QB but he's better than any quarter back that I know" I said
"I can't take your word for it"
"Where you perhaps at the national school finals a few days ago?" I said
"Yes?"
"Then you've witnessed a legend. Can I ask you who you think was the most outstanding player on that field?"
"They were all great and all that but it's a shame that the quarter back didn't apply for scholarship because he's really good but the person who's playing caught me by surprise was the team captain"
I smiled when I realized that my plan was a success.
"Well sir, the player I speak so highly of is The team captain"
"In that case, I'll look into it" He hung up after I gave him my email.
Alright, phase one is complete now it's time for phase two. Since Andrew's mom and I won't be able to pull this off alone, we decided to enlist the help of some of my friends.
"Have you brought us here to kidnap us?" Orion said when we arrived in front of some kind of movie house.
It's a special house that you can rent out when you want to propose to someone or confess your love, it allows you to put pictures and slideshow videos of you and your significant other.
(Note: I'm not even sure such a thing exists, Carry on)
"No, you all are here to assist Jules and I" Violet, Andrew's mom said
"With what?" Maddie asked
"Well, my stupid brother and dumb boyfriend are currently enemies"
"Yeah, we all know that. Get to the point" Rico said
"If you'd just shut up and listen to me then you'll know what I'm planning" I said in a very annoyed tone.
"Let her talk, you idiot" Darcey said
"We want to use this entire field and movie house to recreate memories from both of their childhoods to make them realize that they had something special" I said
"Wow, that's very classy but how exactly are you going to get both of them to stay in the same place?"Antonio said
"He has a point, Jules" Riley said
"You guys don't move a muscle and let me handle those heavy weights" I said
"Alright, Operation Get The Two Boys In My Life To Stop Hating Each other And Become Friends And I Really Gotta Work on A better Name Is A Go" I said
Everyone burst into laughter.
"How about Operation Jandrew is a go?" Derek said
"Hey, that can be yours and Andrew's ship name" Jolene pointed out.
Everyone did an 'Ah'
"I like Andrian more"
