This is the play that they're about to act out. If you're interested then read but if not then proceed to the next chapter. Note, this play is from a book that I wrote when I was eleven years old so it might be...proceed.

SCENE ONE ACT ONE
(The valley of Smallville)

Walter and his wife Stephanie lived in a small hit in the valley of Smallville. They were not a wealthy couple but this didn't stop them from being happy.

Early in the morning before the sun rose, Stephanie picked up a basket and headed towards her house's gate.

"Where are you going?" Walter emerges from inside the house and questions his wife.

"I'm off to pick some melon and pears" She answered.

"Alright but be careful, you know that the tales are real" He said

"Spare me those folklores" She slammed her gate in her husband's face and carried on with her days.

Rumor has it that there is a forest on the outskirts of their small town and it houses some mythical creatures. They don't attack humans who stick to their lanes. If you trespass into their forest then you can't make it out alive.

Stephanie was so ignorant of the fact that her husband was older and much more wiser than her.

"I'll show that man that he's foolish" She grips her basket that has now been filled with melons and fruits. She crossed the demarcation line from her land into the unauthorized zone.

"This place doesn't look scary at all but instead, so pretty" She looked around and saw beautiful gold flowers with golden birds and butterflies.

The was out of this world for Stephanie and lost track of time because she was admiring the sight.

When she realized that it was getting late and she had stayed out for too long, she picked up her basket and went home or at least she attempted to.

When she tried to come out of the forest, she couldn't find her way out. She knew exactly where the entrance was but it covered by leaves that she couldn't push aside.

"You know, you humans are ignorant creatures and you need to be taught a lesson. You can't come in here and expect to leave alive" A figure emerged from the darkness and into the light. It was a teenager girl with long red hair and black dress.

"Please, please, let me go" Her legs trembled in fear as she realized that her foolish old man wasn't foolish at all.

"Of course not, why would I spare you?" She grabbed Stephanie's neck and stared deeply into her eyes. Her once black eyes became red and fiery.

"Mona, leave her alone" Another young girl with longer black hair appeared behind them.

"No, I'm taking this one, Gia" She squeezed her neck further and Stephanie started feeling hard on the inside.

"I said STOP IT" Gia yelled

As she yelled, lightning struck and Mona immediately let go.

"Go, NOW, before I change my mind" Mona yelled and it didn't take Stephanie a minute to escape for her life.

"You're such a coward" Mona spat at Gia.

SCENE ONE, ACT TWO

"Lord Aarus, Gia let another one go. They've been trespassing too much and she's been letting them go" Mona said

"Father, I see no reason why they should be killed. A lot of them come here by accident and some just want to check if the tales are real" Gia defended herself

"Mona, I never asked you to kill anyone, all I've said is that you have to make them never return back here. Gia, you are way too nice which is good but sometimes, you have to toughen up" Her father said

Gia was taking a stroll in the forest when she saw the most beautiful creature that she's ever seen. He was an outsider, she could tell from his outfit. He's a trespasser, I have to get him out of here before Mona does.

"Hey, what do you think you're doing here?" She ran up to him

"Sorry, I'm a tourist on a mission and I was sent to this town to learn more about their culture" He said

"You have to go now"

"I wish I could but I'm kind of stuck" She looked down and saw that he had stepped on a dead mine.

"Don't move, I'll be right back" She couldn't risk her chance with him by using her powers. He seemed oblivious to the truth. She picked up and iron rod and deactivated it.

"Thank you, that dress is unique. Is it also part of this town's attire?" He asked

"Yes, now leave"

"Can I at least get your name?" She wondered if she should tell him her full name Gia-Santos Aarus.

"Gia, just Gia" He left the forest but definitely not her mind. He was all she could think of. She knew that the thing that she feared the most was becoming real.

A mythical creature like herself can never be with a beautiful human like him. She had to at least know his name. It's times like this that she's grateful that she's a witch.

As forbidden as it's sounds, her mystery stranger who's name she found out is Marco came back a few days later to look for her.

He also couldn't get her out of his head and they started meeting everyday. However, it wasn't long before her father found out.

"Opening the forest for a trespasser? Meeting with him in secret? What has gotten into you, Gia?" Her father questioned her

"Love, fell in love dad, I fell in love with him"

"You fell in love with a lowly human? Have you gone nuts? You know exactly what will happen to you but yet you still went ahead to fall in love with him?"

"Dad.."

"You are never to see that human boy again" He dismissed her.

Gia couldn't bare not seeing him again so she decided to break all the rules of her world and go out of the forest.

She blended in quite fine and started living with Marco. She actually thought that she could be happy with him.

However, fate caught up with her and she got caught and was taking back home to the higher ups that will decide what her future would be.

On the day before her trial, Mona paid a visit to Marco. She might be a demon sometimes but she cares about Gia a lot.

"Your girlfriend is going to die because of her petty love for you"

"Why?" He panicked

"I guess it's time that I told you the truth" Mona told him everything from the fact that Gia isn't human to the fact that she's the princess of their world.

Marco was shocked by what he had heard but understood why she didn't tell him. He couldn't let her go face them without seeing her first.

"Gia, I have to tell you something" He caught up with her before she was taken in.
