What do you when you blow off your chance with a guy that you're head over heels for?
Day after day, I prayed, wished and hoped that it was all a dream and that Andrew doesn't hate me but it turned out to be a reality and my life now.
I haven't been able to get people to understand why I had to do it. We made it to the finals but the finals date hasn't been decided because of our situation.
A girl can't play in an all guys team but Jace can't play either so they have to sort everything out. Jace got suspended from school and he's currently not coming to school for now.
He's currently home schooled because suspended or not, the final exams are around the corner and so is prom. At this rate, I'm going to be sadder than Vicky at prom.
At least she'll have her carrot sticks.
"You ok?" Darcey came to sit down beside me at lunch. I've been some kind of outcast.
"No, life has no point again"
"Just because the whole school hates you doesn't mean it's the end of the world" She took a bite from her apple
"I don't care that the whole school hates me, I only care that Andrew won't even look at me" I put licorice under my nose and started rolling it like a mustache.
"Hey poop tart, have some pudding" Some random guy threw a bowl of a pudding on my head.
"Hey, what gives" I cried out in agony. Everyone burst into laughter. I lowered my head and tried to consume the shame.
The sound of someone getting hit and thrown on the floor filled my ear drums. I turned around and saw Andrew on top of the him. He was punching his face and at this rate, I feel like he's going to kill him.
"Andrew, Andrew, it's ok" I grabbed his hand and pulled him off from the guy. He shook himself out of my hold and gave me some paper towels before walking out. I ran after him.
"Wait Andrew, thank you for what you did in there" I said
"Don't get delusional, I didn't do it because I care about you. I simply can't stand bullies and any guy who bullies a girl is a jerk" He said
I thought that he would start talking to me and all that but I was wrong. Everything went back to normal and he stopped talking to me again.
I became invisible in school.
"I don't know what to do, I thought that people would forget about this but I was wrong. I have to make things up with Orion" I told Darcey
"I think I know a way. I might know that the Captain of the experimental film club has a crush on Orion" She said
"Ok but how does that help me out?"
"You fool, all Orion wants is to find love. If you want him to ever forgive you then set him up on a date or some kind of prom posal for him" She said
"I need your help though. I don't talk to.... what's his name?"
"Eli"
"I need your help with Eli"
I don't know what Coach Kirk wants to tell us but he told all of the football team members to gather up in the gym including me.
"Ok, so after a lot of arguments, the football association decided to let Julian play in the finals since Jace is unable to play. The game will take place Immediately after the exams. So we have to train harder than ever" He said
Ok, that takes care of that.
I have three phases of Operation get everyone to love me again.
Phase one is to get Orion's love back and get him a date.
Phase two is to convince everyone to see me in a good light.
Phase three is to get Andrew's love back.
I feel like phase three is going to be the toughest. Anyways, Operation Get Everyone To Love Me Again is a go.
Yes, I'm really calling it that.
"Hey Stranger" I went up to meet Orion.
"What do you want?"
"Look, I'm sorry for what I did. I should have told you from the very beginning but I was a fool and I was really selfish. I know that you're very mad at me so..."
The lights in the hall went off and music started playing in the background.
"What's going on?"
"Wait for it" I smiled at him
The members of the experimental film club came out with some kind of e-board.
"I like you Orion" He read out "Will you go to prom with me?"
Eli emerged from the crowd with a bouquet of roses.
"Eli? You really wanna go to the dance with me?" He asked
"Yes"
"Of course I'll go to prom with you" He hugged Eli and everyone applauded.
"So do you forgive me now?" I smiled at him
"Get in here" He hugged me
I looked at my watch and saw that the time was half past four. Holy crap, I'm running late for practice.
"I gotta go, I'll see you later" I changed into my gym clothes and ran to the pitch.
"You're late Reece" Coach Kirk yelled
"Sorry coach"
"Sorry is not enough" I looked around and saw the others running round the pitch "Well don't just stand there, fifty laps NOW"
"Got it coach"
