"I'm sorry, Did you say you don't watch movies? I was just making a speech, I had no idea I was right" Andrew was walking me back home.
"No, I would rather watch ball"
"Why? There's no kissing and crying and cuddling in soccer"
"Yeah there is, I believe our hands in rugby and their foot in football are doing the kissing"
"You're even lamer than my grandma" I laughed
"Well, here we are" He pointed to my house.
"Today was fun, we should do this again sometime" I said while moving backwards.
"Yeah, sure" He waved at me. I waved back before turning around.
"Wait" He said
I turned around.
"Are we gonna go back to us? Can't we just get along?"
"Yeah, that could work" I smiled at him
We burst into laughter "Like we would magically start seeing eye to eye" He said
"But we can stop hating each other" I said
"Sounds like a plan" He pushed his hands into his pocket. I turned around to leave again.
"Oh wait"
"I said, we can get along" I said
"You..You forgot your things"
"Oh right"
"Ok what was all that? From the look on your face, I'd say that your play date was amazing" Maddie said
"I don't know what you're talking about"
"Yeah you do, you're pink" She gasped when she saw the shopping bags.
"Did he get you all this?" She said
"Yeah"
"Oh uh, Love in the air" The was something about the weird way she said love that made me want to pick her in the face.
"So tell me everything that happened" She hopped on my bed while going through the stuffs I brought.
"Oh, this dress is so cute. I have to borrow this" She said
"So you can go on a date with that dick ass, not a chance"
I packed up the things and put the bags away.
"Wait lemme get this straight, you kissed Andrew? As in Andrew Laverne, the one you hate?" She said
"Hate is a strong word"
"I'm pretty sure it is the best way to refer to yours and Andrew's relationship. What else would you call it? An entanglement?"
"What that is not a word"
"It is now"
"It's not an enta... whatever that is. It's something like a Contaglement." I said
"What now you're just making words up"
"Oh so it's ok when you do it"
"At least someone has said the word before. At least it exists in this world but Contaglement? Really? What is that then Eisten?"
"Something like a love-hate relationship with little love and little hate"
"Look, if you like him then just say it and stop beating about the bush"
"Ew, I don't like him"
"Oh but Boy Julian a.k.a Jace likes him" She smirked
"Can you not make this about your shit ass boyfriend?"
"I heard that, What is your deal with ass? Is it because you don't have any" Jace stuck out his tongue.
"Jace" Maddie spanked his head "Do you know how hot your sister is?"
"Ew, have you seen her face? She looks like a monkey"
"Dude, we literally have the same face" I pointed the obvious
"Anyways, You have a date next week Saturday" He said
"What? No I don't"
"You do, with your sweet Andrew" He pouted his lips and made kissing sounds.
"Ew, stop that" I said
"He asked me out on a date and since all of this is your fault then you better buckle up and go on your date with your baby"
"Can you stop it with the nicknames?"
Today is a brand new day, no smelly brother, no smelly teacher and no drama. What could possibly go wrong?
"I want to tell your brother how I feel because I can't hide my feelings any longer" Orion breathed out.
Great, So much for a perfect day.
"Why do you want to tell him? I mean, he's not gay"
"Yeah but the beauty about one sided crushes is that you feel it, you plan it and you most definitely don't have to share it. I love your brother but that doesn't mean he has to love me back" He said
"Yeah ok, I know that you're not one to listen to people when you look are so excited and energized, so I'm just gonna say, Go for it" He left.
Yeah, ok so his gone and everything seems perfect so what could go wrong?
"Miss Reece, my office immediately" Principal Mason said
Tch, seriously? Is it really that hard to let me be.
"How was your trip to New Orleans?"
"Uh, it was great and I definitely learnt a lot of things. Ok bye" I rushed for the door
"Whoa, whoa, whoa, that's not why I called you here" He said
"Oh, so why did you call me here?"
"Your grades, I know you're a straight A student and you've never given me issues but you missed two tests during your trip and it was an evaluation test. You're gonna have to take extra classes if you want to make up for it"
"Ok, I can spare a few hours after class. Ok bye"
"Hold up, you're going to have classes on weekends. Sorry princess but no dates for you" He smiled at me
I'm so bummed, I didn't realize that this whole situation will affect my grades. I can't have fun anymore, I'm stuck in school on Saturdays.
Oh no, How am I going to go on a date with Andrew?

See you next time.
