J U L I A N

Paragliding.

So that's what we are doing today. I should have known, I am part of a truly odd squad.

"You could have just told me that we were going paragliding" I unbuckled my seat belt and hopped out of my car.

"Because you're no fun and you'll whine about how dangerous it is and all that"

"Yeah and to be fair, the movie, Crash landing on you confirms the fact that paragliding is extremely dangerous" I said

"That's just a movie and besides, there was a storm" Darcey rolled her eyes.

"Whatever, I'm not throwing my life down the drain"

"You're such a buzz kill" Jolene said

"Are you really not coming along?" Riley adjusted Jolene's helmet before she took off.

I mean, that looks like a lot of fun "No"

"Suit yourself" He jumped off the cliff of the mountain. Wow, that is so dangerous yet it looks so interesting.

"Stop letting your petty fears get in your way of having fun" Logan placed a helmet on my head.

"I don't know" I said

"Come on, I'll help you with your gear" He smiled at me.

"Alright, since you begged me so much"

"Haha, when did I?" He chuckled

"I can't believe that I let you talk me into this" I placed my hand on my helmet.

"Well, I did beg you so much" I smiled at him.

"Come on, lame ass" Darcey yelled from the sky.

"Come on, I'll hold your hand" He stretched out his hand and I took it in mine.

"On the count of three, one, two...."

"THREEE!!" I jumped off the cliff with my eyes closed. I thought I was going to die until I started going up.

I gotta say, this is definitely more fun that I imagined. I can't believe that I almost sat this one out.

After hours of paragliding, we came down but still stayed in our overalls. Why? I don't know either.

"Since today's schedule is basically completed, we thought that we'd spice things up and play a little game" Rico said

"Actually, I'm a little tired so maybe we should leave whatever game you have in mind for our party" Nirvana said

"Party?" I asked

"Yeah, we're having a little summer get together party" Jolene said

"And you didn't invite me?"

"It's not like you would have made it" Darcey said

"Ok, I'm offended which is why I'm going to definitely attend the party. When is it by the way?"

"Tomorrow night, bring your cute friend" Nirvana winked at me

I don't know why but I got all flustered up by her statement. We went back to our cars and finally parted ways.

Ok, so how am I supposed to make this work? I have work tomorrow but I can't miss the party because that'll only give Darcey more reason to insult me.

Maybe I'll ask Molly to cover my shift for me and I'll repay her. Well, I do get off work around ninety thirty and sometimes ten. It's not like I have any plans of coming on time.

I don't really like parties, I actually do but sometimes they can be a real pain in the neck. I should probably call Andrew and check on him.

I pulled out my phone and clicked on his contact. I took a good look at myself in the mirror before attempting to call him.

I clicked his contact for the hundredth time but there was no reply. That's really odd because he never misses my call.

Maybe he's just busy, I'll try again tomorrow. I freshened up and prepared for bed. My phone beeped and I smiled because I realized that it must be a text from Andrew but it wasn't, it was someone else.

I had a blast today and I look forward to going to that party with you. I wanted to call but I was afraid that you'd be asleep so I texted you instead. Good night and sweet dreams. You know what it means when a guy tells you sweet dreams right?

I smiled widely as I read Logan's text message. Why is he so cute and also caring? I sighed deeply as there was still no reply from Andrew. Well, I may not have gotten anything from him but I'll sleep well knowing that someone cares for me.

There's one thing I hate and it's admitting that it's already morning and that I have to start my day. I also hate the fact that this is summer and I'm meant to sleep in but instead, I have to be awake by eight.

I mean, who wakes up by eight during summer? I guess I do.

My alarm is so annoying but that sound I'm hearing right now is a billion times more annoying than an alarm clock.

My ringtone.

The sound of an idiot calling so dang early in the morning. I mean, what kind of a lunatic disrupts a person's sleep?

I slapped my phone off the counter with hopes that it would make it die down but it didn't. I guess that trick only works on my alarm.

I lazily opened my eyes and rolled down from the bed. I can't believe the phone is ringing continuously. I picked it up and answered without looking at the caller ID. I'm guessing it's Logan, he did send me a good night so it's only natural to also send a good morning.

"Logan, we aren't going to the party until later tonight so explain to me why you're calling me so early?"

"Logan? Who's Logan" I heard an extremely familiar voice and all of the remaining sleep in my body hopped out.

"An...Andrew? Logan, oh sorry, I am binge watching BTR. I miss the show so much and I've always been obsessed with big time rush anyways" I cleared my throat.

"Alright" He said "I'm sorry that I couldn't answer you last night. I had something to attend to"

"It's fine, I should have expected stuffs like this when I agreed to continue this long distance relationship"

"That's why I love you a lot, you're so understanding"

I don't know if I was hallucinating or my hearing's damaged but I definitely heard a girl's voice in the background.

"What are you doing Andrew?" She said in a very seductive tone.

"Who's that Andrew?"

"Who? What? There's no one"

"I can clearly hear the ruffling sounds of the bed and I just heard a girl call out your name"

He didn't say anything. I could hear him breathing but he didn't say anything.

"Andrew, are you still there?"

"What....I can't hear you" He said but I could clearly hear his voice.

"I can hear you, so why can't you hear me?"

"I...I..." The line went dead after that.

Ok, that was awkward.
