Have I become a jerk or has my love life just taken a different path? Just a few days ago, I was happy about Jules and I but also confused because of what Jace and I have.
Lately, it seems like all I do is piss them off. I don't still get why Julian is so mad at me and all that. I mean, I know we watched things up but we were just getting started and all that.
I was sitting down alone in the gym when Jace came up to meet me.
"Hey I need your help with something" He sat down beside me
"Weren't you mad at me like yesterday?" I can never seem to understand this Reece siblings.
"Huh? What are you.... Never mind, I need your help with Jules' gay friend"
"Who? Orion?"
"No, it's Shea Durrazo. Didn't you see him at my house? Who else if not Orion?"
"Sorry but why do you need my help?"
"Remember how I told you I had a plan to make it up with Jules, well this is it. Orion told me he likes me and I gave him a really rude and straight forward answer so I'm going to talk to him and clear the air" He said
"So why do you need my help?"
"Just to accompany me"
"I don't have anything else to do and Julian won't even return my calls or texts so Why not?"
When Orion saw us coming, he started running away. I guess he believed that we were coming to bully him or something.
"Hey, listen, I'm sorry for how I acted the other day. I was a jerk and shouldn't have been rude to you like that. I didn't even think of Julian and how this would hurt her feelings. She loves you a lot and I love her and I'm really sorry for how I acted. I'm straight ok, I'm not insulting gay guys but it's not really my thing"
What? Does that mean that everything that happened between us meant nothing to him?
"It's ok, I forgive you" He hugged Jace
I smiled because it was a very rare sight. It's not everyday you see Jace Reece hugging someone like Orion.
"That felt good. Now all I have to do is wait for Jules to hear about this" He patted his back
"Wait, about what you said earlier, Are you really not into gay stuff?" I asked
"Yeah, there are too much bitches to fall for a nigga" He winked at me.
What? What the hell is going on?
I need to talk to someone, someone who is Julian and Jace trust, someone who I can trust, someone who won't blab.
"Maddie, got a sec to spare?" I sat down beside her
"I didn't even say yeah but when have you ever actually listened to what people have to say" She removed her earphones from her ear.
"Is it just me or is Jace acting really strange?" She laughed nervously
"Pretty sure it's all in your head"
"No" I sighed "I want to tell you something but you have to promise to not tell any body, not even Julian" I said
"Of course" She nodded
"I might be in a love triangle with Jules and Jace"
"What? You don't mean it"
"Yeah, I know it's crazy but now I know how Alex felt in Alex Strange love. As crazy as this sounds, what's crazy is that it feels like Jace is two different people"
"How do you mean?"
"Ok, we went on a couple dates before Julian returned and we liked it. We even kissed twice and all that but today, he told me that he's not into gay stuff"
"Maybe he didn't feel a spark" She said nervously
"Ok fine but how about yesterday and today when he was so pissed off with me but then he today, all of a sudden, we're cool"
"Um, I gotta go" She picked up her bags and ran out of the class. Ok, why is everyone acting so fishy?
"Good morning class, I have big news, Since there's no game this week, I'm taking you on a two day boat cruise to freshen up your mind and clear the air for your assignments because you never know when I can cut the deadline" Miss Diana said
"We're not going to sink like The Titanic right?" Jolene asked
"The Titanic, that's a great movie to add to your watchlist" She replied
"Have you never been on a ship? We can't sink because this is not some cheap Hollywood movie" Whitney said
"Who knows? It will be awesome to watch Whitney drown to death" Julian said
"The sharks will get her first" Rico said
"Nope, she'll taste too vile"
Julian turned to me and gave me a 'this is the girl you're hooking up with' look
"Moving on, school will be closed earlier than usual on Friday. The bus will arrive by four in the evening so make sure you're available"
I'm actually looking forward to this boat cruise.
